Voices of Courage Echo Through Happy Hollow
Laughter, music, and meaningful lessons filled the air as Happy Hollow Elementary School conducted its Yell and Tell Program, a child protection initiative that taught learners how to recognize danger and respond with courage. Captivating the young audience, the Grade 1 teacher brought an inspiring story to life, guiding pupils through the important steps of "See It, Feel It, Yell and Tell." The story encouraged children to recognize unsafe situations, trust their feelings when something seems wrong, and understand that their voices matter.
The excitement continued as the learners enthusiastically sang the Yell and Tell Song, filling the school grounds with energy and confidence. More than just a performance, the song reminded every child to see the warning signs, feel when something is not right, yell to get attention, and tell a trusted adult whenever they encounter danger. Through storytelling and music, the program empowered learners with knowledge, courage, and confidence—proving that even the smallest voices can make a big difference in keeping themselves and others safe.
