By virtue of RA 10742 or more commonly known as the SK REFORM ACT of 2015, all Local Government Units thru the City Youth Development Office and the Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation shall implement activites in the celebration of the Linggo ng Kabataan coinciding with the International Youth Day of August 12.

The City government of Baguio institutionalized such celebration by virtue of a city Ordinance approved by the city council for this very purpose.

For this year's celebration, the SK Federation Office of Baguio City and the City youth development council prepared various activities for our youth adjusting to our current condition under a global pandemic brought by COVID-19.

This year's celebration will maximize the use of online platforms as well as offline however with strict observance of physical distancing, face masks, face shields and avoidance of crowded activities.

The them for this year's linggo ng kabataan is "YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR GLOBAL ACTION". We are bringing our youth to a level of global unity and renewed youth engagement amidst COVID-19.
