The City Nutrition Evaluation Team recently visited Loakan Liwanag Barangay to assess its performance for the Best Performing Barangay award. The evaluation team included distinguished members such as Sir Joe Pablo Gernale from the DILG Baguio, Sir Dennis Rulloda from the SSD Mayor's Office, Ma'am Perla Rimalos from the City Social Welfare and Development, Ma'am Cynthia Cadawan from the DepEd, Dr. Judith Tacudog from the Philippine Dental Association Baguio City, Ma'am Lealyn Catiyan, OIC of the Nutrition Office, and District Coordinator Ma'am Myrna Holanio. Their combined expertise and dedication played a crucial role in this important evaluation process

Mayor Benjie Magalong has announced the suspension of work and classes for both public and private establishments today July 27, 2022 in the wake of the strong earthquake felt in the city.

No damage or fatality has been reported so far. The mayor will lead an inspection citywide.

Building owners are advised not to allow people back inside establishments until structures are assessed and integrity is established. -PIO Baguio
