We sincerely thank the 1st Civil Relations Group, CMOC, AFP for recognizing the City Engineering Office for our support during the "Waves of Rock: Uniting Filipinos through Music for the WPS" event at Malcolm Square last July 12, 2026.

It was a privilege to play a part in this meaningful commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Ruling on the West Philippine Sea.

🚧 PUBLIC ADVISORY: Pre-Typhoon Preparation for Supertyphoon Bavi (Local Name: Inday) 🚧
Please be informed that in anticipation of the upcoming Supertyphoon Bavi (Inday), all necessary precautionary measures are kindly being implemented city-wide.

We highly value the safety of everyone, and this directive is issued to ensure public safety and mitigate potential damages within our beloved communities.

Precautionary Actions Sincerely Requested:
For Private Contractors: We kindly request all contractors to immediately secure all on-going infrastructure projects. Please ensure that scaffolding, cranes, heavy equipment, and loose building materials are heavily reinforced or properly stored away to prevent hazards caused by strong winds and heavy rainfall.

For Barangay Officials: As our dedicated Barangay Captains and Kagawads are in direct charge of local clearing operations, we earnestly urge you to lead and actively assist in cleaning your respective barangay's drainage systems, canals, and critical waterways to prevent localized flooding.

Community Alert: We gently encourage all residents to stay safe, keep updated with official weather bulletins, and take a moment to secure their homes and personal belongings.

Thank you very much for your utmost understanding, kind cooperation, and proactive support as we work together to keep our city and fellow citizens safe.

PUBLIC ADVISORY: SLIPPERY WHEN WET! β˜”
Those textured pathways on our sidewalks are tactile pavements. They're essential guides for our visually impaired residents.
During the rainy season, it's CRUCIAL to AVOID STEPPING ON THEM unless you need to. They become incredibly slippery when wet, posing a risk to everyone.
Please help us keep these vital paths clear and safe. Your awareness helps build a more considerate Baguio.

This advisory serves as a precautionary reminder while the proposed project for a permanent non-slip solution to the tactile paving is still being processed and implemented.
