The number coding scheme in Baguio City is temporarily suspended from April 8 to April 24, 2026 to help ease mobility challenges amid current transport conditions.

In response to the declaration of a National Energy Emergency, the following establishments in Baguio City have adjusted their operating hours to support energy conservation efforts:

📍 SM City Baguio
🕒 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
🕒 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)

📍 Porta Vaga Mall
🕒 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Sunday)

These schedule adjustments are part of collective efforts to manage energy consumption while continuing to serve the public. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly.

The 9th International Farm Tourism Conference Philippines officially opens today in Baguio City, bringing together leaders, farmers, innovators, tourism practitioners, and policymakers to explore the future of sustainable farm tourism.

With the theme “Highland Harvest: Cultivating Sustainable Agriculture and Tourism,” the conference highlights the vital role of the highlands in strengthening agricultural productivity, community resilience, and responsible tourism. Day 1 features discussions on highland coffee innovation, digitalization in farm tourism, sustainable supply chains, and preserving natural and cultural heritage.

Over the next few days, participants will exchange ideas, share success stories, and build partnerships that support sustainable agriculture and tourism development in the Philippines and beyond.

(ISSTI) formally sealed their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement to support the implementation of the International Farm Tourism Conference – Philippines, to be held on March 4–6, 2026 in the City of Baguio. 🤝

This landmark event aims to:

-Showcase the Cordillera Administrative Region’s successful farm tourism models.
-Promote policy development and investment in sustainable agritourism.
-Strengthen linkages between global best practices and local innovation.
-Position Baguio as a hub for sustainable tourism excellence.
