Newcomers' Golden Journey in Sports
Ashton Craig Lapindo, a sixth grader and first-time volleyball player, led his Sto. Tomas Elementary School Volleyball Team to victory in the District V Palaro. At the Division Level,the team secured 4th place. Ashton's exceptional volleyball skills earned him a spot in the team for the 2025 Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) Meet where they clinched first place. Ashton's journey continues as he will participate in the Palarong Pambansa come April.
In the Humiding Cup: Baguio Panagbenga Festival Kickboxing Tournament 2025, another STES neophyte, Jethro Calias won the gold medal.
At the 2025 Palarong Lungsod Arnis Tournament, first-time players Aimeebeth Perrie Awing, Alaiza Rhealyn Dela Cruz, and Ruby Mendoza brought home the bronze medal in the Performance-Based Anyo category.
Atasha Chloe Recile, a grade V pupil, won gold medal in the individual poomsae event at the Benguet Taekwondo Cup.
