BJMP-CAR K.A.W.A.N.I. Program Strengthened Through Community Partnership

BJMP-CAR expresses its gratitude to the Baguio Family and Friends Lions Club for its generous donation and valuable partnership in support of the K.A.W.A.N.I. (KAlinga at Wagas na Alaga sa Nagkakaisang Iskwad) Program.

The program, under the leadership of Regional Director JCSUPT DELVIC L OREIRO, DSC, JD, continues to implement initiatives that promote the morale, welfare, and well-being of personnel, retirees, and pensioners. These include efforts on personnel wellness, gender and development, information dissemination, and workplace improvement, contributing to a more supportive and efficient working environment.

Through this collaboration, BJMP-CAR strengthens community partnership and institutional development in pursuit of a motivated and empowered workforce in public service.

Sa paggunita ng mahalagang pagdiriwang na ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng BJMP ang pagkakaisa, respeto sa lahat ng pananampalataya, at kapayapaan sa ating mga komunidad.

Nawa’y maging mapayapa at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Adha para sa lahat. 🌙

𝗕𝗝𝗠𝗣 𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗝𝗢𝟭 𝗤𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐂 𝐋 𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐑𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology – Cordillera Administrative Region continues its strict and merit-based recruitment process for the Jail Officer 1 (JO1) CY 2026 Quota.

Out of 803 applicants, 566 qualified during the preliminary screening phase, while 265 successfully passed the Initial Neuro-Psychological Assessment. Following the medical examinations, 238 applicants completed the Neuro-Psychiatric Examination, and 174 applicants advanced to the Panel Interview as part of the rigorous selection process.

Further strengthening the recruitment journey, as of May 26, 2026, a total of 162 JO1 aspirants successfully underwent the Physical, Dental, and Medical Evaluation to assess their physical fitness, overall health condition, and readiness for public safety service.

The recruitment process continues with the upcoming Physical Ability Test (PAT) and Final Deliberation, ensuring that only competent, disciplined, and service-ready individuals will earn the opportunity to join the ranks of the BJMP.

BJMPRO-CAR held its traditional Monday flag ceremony under the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗖 𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗥𝗢, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, 𝗝𝗗

The day’s program included a meaningful Value Focus Discussion on Prayerfulness led by 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗪 𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗪𝗔, a Regional Staff Conference and a thorough Rank Inspection to ensure discipline and readiness among personnel.

These activities reflect our continued commitment to faith, integrity, and excellence in public service.

The Penology Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (POAPI) successfully held its 11th General Assembly and Testimonial Honors under the leadership of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗜𝗖 𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗥𝗢, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, 𝗝𝗗, POAPI President.

This special occasion honored the distinguished service of 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗥𝗢𝗬 𝗣 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗭𝗨𝗘𝗟𝗔 and 𝗝𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔, whose dedication and leadership continue to inspire excellence in the field of penology.

The event was further highlighted by the presence of our Guest of Honor and Speaker, 𝗝𝗗𝗜𝗥 𝗥𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Chief, BJMP who delivered an inspiring message that reinforced POAPI’s mission of professionalism, unity, and service.

𝗕𝗝𝗠𝗣-𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗦𝗔 🤝🏽

Under the leadership of JCSUPT DELVIC L OREIRO, DSC, JD, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, the Regional Welfare and Development Division, through JSUPT APRIL ROSE W AYANGWA, conducted a series of courtesy calls in preparation for the implementation of PROJECT GANGSA (Guided Assistance for Nurturing Growth, Strengthening Ancestral Identity, and Reintegration through Cultural Awareness).

This initiative aims to strengthen coordination and partnerships with key stakeholders from NCIP, IPMRs, and local government officials in support of culturally responsive programs for Indigenous Persons Deprived of Liberty (IP-PDL). Meetings were conducted with Atty. Atanacio Addog, Hon. Maximo H. Edwin, Jr., Benjamin Palbusa, representatives from the NCIP Benguet Provincial Office, and local officials from La Trinidad.

The courtesy calls reaffirmed the shared commitment of BJMP-CAR and its partners toward promoting Indigenous cultural identity, welfare, and the successful reintegration of IP-PDL in the Cordillera Region.
