Attention, Bisigkleta 2026 Bike Ride participants!

Please be informed that the Bike Ride Route has been updated. Kindly review the revised route map and familiarize yourself with the course before tomorrow's event.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the event T-shirts will no longer be distributed during this weekend's Bisigkleta Bike Ride and Fun Run.

Despite this, the event will continue as scheduled in support of our shared advocacy for the welfare of children and the celebration of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Week (AACCW). 💙💛❤️

We encourage everyone to wear red, yellow, and blue as a symbol of unity and solidarity with this year's AACCW celebration. Participants who joined previous Bisigkleta events are also welcome to proudly wear their Bisigkleta shirts from past years.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday as we ride and run together for a cause!

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻

NACC and DSWD lead the ASEAN Regional Consultation on Strengthening Alternative Family-Based Care Systems for North and Central Luzon, uniting government agencies, child welfare advocates, and development partners to advance the protection and promotion of children’s rights.

The consultation focused on strengthening family-based care systems by preventing unnecessary child-family separation, improving adoption and foster care services, and reinforcing efforts on family reunification and deinstitutionalization. Participants also highlighted the importance of stronger cross-border collaboration across ASEAN member states for more coordinated child protection.

Engaging discussions allowed partners to share experiences, insights, and promising practices that can further enhance existing programs and services for children in need of alternative family-based care.

The event was successfully facilitated with the support of RACCO CAR staff, with Ms. Felisa Singlan serving as one of the moderators, ensuring a smooth, well-guided flow of discussion throughout the consultation.

This initiative supports the ongoing development of the Regional Action Plan for Enhancing Adoption and Foster Care and the ASEAN Declaration on Strengthening Alternative Family-Based Care Systems, reaffirming the shared commitment to ensure that every child grows up in a safe, supportive, and loving family.
