đź“Ť Barangay Activity Update | Geohazard Mapping & Community Survey
On February 12-13, 2026, the Barangay conducted a Geohazard Mapping and Community Survey around Atok Trail to identify hazard-prone areas and update community records.
Barangay officials and volunteers conducted physical surveys and data encoding, focusing on households including PWDs, children below 17, pregnant women, and solo parents, and compared the gathered data with the 2025 records and the updated 2026 census.
The activity also included surveying local businesses in the barangay and a lecture on architectural materials for barangay officers, followed by a short assessment to strengthen awareness on safer construction practices.
This initiative aims to improve disaster preparedness, update community data, and strengthen the barangay’s disaster risk reduction efforts.
