Face-to-face classes are suspended in all levels, from Daycare to Senior High School, due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Classes will shift to Modular Distance Learning (MDL).

🚧 PGLU-PDRRMO AUGMENTATION IN CLEARING OPERATIONS | BAGULIN, LA UNION 🚧

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), provided valuable augmentation and assistance in conducting clearing operations in affected areas of Bagulin, La Union.

The Municipality of Bagulin, headed by Hon. Virgilio C. Flor, extends its sincere appreciation to the PGLU-PDRRMO personnel for their immediate response, manpower, and support in clearing road obstructions and helping restore safe and accessible roads for the residents of Bagulin.

This collaborative effort demonstrates the importance of strong coordination, cooperation, and unity in disaster response, especially during times of continuous weather disturbances. 💪🌿

🌧️ Light to Moderate, at times Heavy rains are being experienced in portions of La Union and nearby areas and may persist within the next 2–3 hours.

📍 BAGULIN
Residents are advised to remain highly alert, especially those living near mountain slopes, rivers, waterways, and low-lying areas. Take necessary precautions against possible landslides, mudslides, rockslides, and flash floods.

PUBLIC ADVISORY 📢

​Pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 123, work in government offices in the Province of La Union shall adopt a work from home arrangement today, August 10, 2026, in anticipation of heavy rainfall due to the Southwest Monsoon.

​The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in private companies is left at the discretion of their respective heads of office.

Offices providing essential services, such as health, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response, will remain fully operational.

Due to the Orange Rainfall Warning issued for La Union and the prevailing weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), classes in all levels are suspended tomorrow, August 10, 2026 in the Municipality of Bagulin.

The suspension is being implemented to ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.
