The City of Victorias, Negros Occidental conducted a Benchmarking Activity in the City of Bais to learn from and observe the best practices of the Bais City Government in Workforce Development, particularly the programs and innovations implemented through the Bais Training Center (BTC).

The benchmarking activity provided an opportunity for both local governments to exchange experiences, strategies, and best practices in skills development, technical-vocational education and training (TVET), employment facilitation, and workforce preparation.

The City Government of Bais, under the leadership of Mayor Luigi Marcel T. Goรฑi, warmly welcomes the City of Victorias and looks forward to strengthening inter-LGU collaboration and knowledge-sharing toward a more skilled, competitive, and employment-ready workforce. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

Strengthening TESDA Partnerships for Skills Development in Bais City

A productive courtesy visit of TESDA Regional Director Niรฑa Connie G. Dodd with Mayor Luigi Marcel T. Goรฑi highlighted important discussions on strengthening technical-vocational education and training (TVET) initiatives in Bais City.

Among the salient matters discussed were the Deed of Donation for a lot intended for the TESDA Negros Island Region (NIR) Office and the provision of a parcel of land for the establishment of the TESDA Provincial Training Center.

These initiatives underscore the City Government of Baisโ€™ continuing commitment to supporting TESDAโ€™s programs and expanding access to quality skills training and workforce development opportunities for Baisnons and communities across Negros Island.
