NORSU commits itself to the provision of quality instruction, research, extension services, and production as well as compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and continual improvement of its management system.

THE LIBRARY

The Negros Oriental State University Library as the hub and academic center of the university effectively delivers its primary responsibility of making accessible all its available resources in all formats to ensure the cultivation and growth of knowledge, build its collection, create a conducive, welcoming, and comfortable physical environment, foster an atmosphere that acknowledges diversity and excellence, supportive to teaching, learning, research, extension and production functions of the university.

Goal

To provide quality information and efficient services to answer the needs of the members of the academic community and other stakeholders.

Quality Objectives

1. It shall provide books and non-book materials needed in the instructional, research, production, and extension program of the University.

2. It shall continuously acquire and organize library materials.

3. It shall provide facilities and equipment that would effectively contribute to the intellectual, scientific, and technological advancement of all its customers.

4. It shall assist the faculty members, students, and other stakeholders in their instructional and research activities.
