Personnel of Balabagan Fire Station, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐍𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐑 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐨, 𝐁𝐅𝐏, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗬. 𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗙 𝗗 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents held at Sultan Mangalampa Daing National High School, in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Balabagan and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Balabagan.

The activity aimed to enhance the preparedness, awareness, coordination, and response capabilities of school personnel, learners, and emergency responders in dealing with active attack incidents and other emergency situations within the school premises.

Through the conduct of the safety drill, participating agencies and school personnel strengthened their coordination and practiced appropriate emergency procedures, communication, evacuation, and response measures to help ensure the safety and protection of the school community.

The activity underscores the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and inter-agency coordination in building a safer and more resilient school environment.

𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗙 𝗗 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗚, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) Training as part of the station's Weekly Rescue Skills Enhancement Program.

The activity aimed to enhance the specialized skills, operational readiness, and risk management capability of BFP personnel when utilizing life-saving floatation gear during high-risk water rescue environments and riverine operations.

Through comprehensive lectures, technical safety drills, and hands-on exercises, participants trained on proper fitting, rapid deployment, maintenance, and tactical application of various Personal Floatation Devices to ensure maximum buoyancy, operational efficiency, and overall rescuer safety during flood and water emergencies.

The activity aimed to equip the school community with essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to emergencies, promoting preparedness, safety, and resilience within the school environment.

The training covered discussions and practical demonstrations on Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, Fire Safety, and Firefighting, with the participation and support of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Balabagan.

Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, participants enhanced their understanding of proper emergency response procedures, basic life-saving techniques, first aid, fire prevention, and firefighting practices.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and operational readiness of BFP personnel in ensuring patient safety during rescue, extrication, and emergency medical operations.

Through practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises, participants enhanced their understanding of patient assessment, proper handling and lifting techniques, spinal immobilization, infection control, communication with patients, and safe patient removal and transport procedures.
