Barangay Sta. Cruz is calling all young basketball players to step up and compete for a spot on the team for the Vice Mayor’s Cup. The 18 Under tryouts will be held on August 26, 2026, while the 14 Under tryouts will be on August 27, 2026 both starting at 6pm. Bring your skills, focus, and competitive spirit (AND TUMBLERS), and show that you have what it takes to represent Sta. Cruz.

Ang 18 Under nga tryout kay sa Agosto 26, 2026, samtang ang 14 Under kay sa Agosto 27, 2026 magsugo sa 6pm. Dad-a ang inyong abilidad, focus, ug kadasig sa pagdula (UG MGA TUMBLERS), ug ipakita nga andam mo nga morepresentar sa Barangay Sta. Cruz.

The 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 is now accepting applications!

Five (5) deserving and financially vulnerable students will be selected to receive ₱𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬.𝟬𝟬 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 to help them complete their tertiary education.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬

Applicants must be:
• Incoming 4th-year college students for SY 2026–2027
• Residents of the barangay
• Enrolled in a recognized college or university
• From a financially vulnerable household or at risk of dropping out due to financial difficulties

Priority will be given to students with significant financial need, first-generation college students, and those nearing graduation.

To ensure a thorough and fair selection, all applicants will undergo:
