BCEC, Conduct Milk Distribution for Day Care Children in Orani and Samal
Orani and Samal, Bataan โ The Bataan Child Empowerment Council(BCEC), in coordination with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office successfully carried out a milk distribution activity for day care children as part of the provinceโs ongoing nutrition and early childhood development program.
The initiative aims to promote proper nutrition among young learners and support their physical and cognitive growth during their formative years.
Through the program, day care children received fresh milk to supplement their daily nutritional needs and encourage healthy eating habits.
BCEC chairwoman Maโam Vicky Garcia together with PSWDO staffs, ABC Orlando Malibiran of Samal, Bataan, Coun. Abba Sicat of Orani, Ms. Elizabeth Cruz MSWDO Orani and Punong Barangay Edgar Buenaventura of Brgy Bayan, Orani ensured the orderly distribution of milk in Alikabok and Ibaba day care centers across the two municipalities. Parents and guardians were also reminded of the importance of balanced nutrition in the overall development of their children.

The activity also highlighted the importance of close collaboration between local governments, day care workers, and community partners in promoting early childhood care and development.
The BCEC continues to roll out similar milk distribution activities in other municipalities of Bataan, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring that every Bataeรฑo child receives proper nutrition and care during their early years.
