The activity emphasized the importance of following the correct sequence and procedures in putting on and removing PPE, ensuring personnel safety while minimizing the risk of exposure to hazardous substances and contaminants.

The personnel of Balanga City Fire Station, led by ๐…๐’๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐๐„๐‘๐๐€๐‘๐ƒ ๐“ ๐‘๐Ž๐’๐„๐“๐„, DSC, Acting Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 3, under the supervision of ๐…๐’๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐„๐‘๐๐„๐’๐“๐Ž ๐’ ๐๐€๐†๐ƒ๐€๐๐†๐€๐๐€๐, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal of Bataan, and with the guidance of ๐…๐‚๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐‹๐Ž๐ ๐• ๐‚๐„๐๐“๐„๐๐Ž, City Fire Marshal conducted their daily skills enhancement focusing Pump Opperations demonstrated by the personnel of Balanga City Fire Station.

The personnel of the Balanga City Fire Station conducted a practical familiarization and training on fire truck pump operations, focusing on the proper operation of the pump panel, water supply management, pressure control, and effective water delivery during firefighting operations.

The activity aimed to enhance the personnelโ€™s knowledge, skills, and confidence in handling fire apparatus and ensure efficient and reliable water delivery during emergency response. Proper pump operation is essential in maintaining adequate water pressure and supporting firefighting crews in suppressing and controlling fires.

The activity focused on strengthening the knowledge and practical skills of personnel in recognizing signs of airway obstruction and applying appropriate emergency response techniques to assist individuals experiencing choking emergencies.

Through continuous training, hands-on practice, and skills enhancement, BFP personnel remain prepared to respond promptly and effectively during life-threatening emergencies and provide immediate assistance to those in need.
