The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bataan Provincial Office has conducted the event titled “DOLE’s Emergency Employment Program," which highlights the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Orientation and Contract Signing, held on October 6, 2026, from the municipalities of Abucay and Samal.

The 1053 beneficiaries from each municipality — 458 from Abucay and 595 from Samal, have been formally informed by the officials of the DOLE Bataan Field Office of the TUPAD program, navigating its guidelines, responsibilities, and other program provisions. In this activity, the beneficiaries have strengthened their informative backgrounds with the importance of temporary employment opportunities within their assigned activities from their respective work station.

Hence, under the guidance of Sec. Francis Tolentino; The DOLE Bataan Field Office provides employment opportunities closer to Filipino workers with the objective of bringing sustainable livelihoods. This activity aims to bring financial aid and meaningful opportunities to the beneficiaries, in which they will foster awareness and strong relationships within their local community.

Sa pagbisita po kahapon, ika-5 ng Oktubre ni Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Director Atty. Sarah Buena Mirasol kasama sina DOLE Provincial Director Maylene Evangelista at PESO Manager Maria Eva Basalo, amin pong tinalakay ang mga programa ng DOLE partikular na ang pagpapaunlad ng workforce sa ating Lalawigan, ang suporta para sa mga manggawa, negosyo, oportunidad sa paghahanapbuhay, skills training at mga programang pangkabuhayan.

Patuloy po tayong nakikipagtulungan sa pribadong sektor at iba pang stakeholders upang mapalawak pa ang mga oportunidad sa paghahanapbuhay at masuportahan ang patuloy na pagsigla ng ekonomiya ng ating Lalawigan.

Regular Holiday: hanggang 200%
Special Non-Working Day: 130% kapag nagtrabaho
Special Working Day: ordinary working day
Alamin kung magkano ang dapat matanggap kapag nagtrabaho, hindi nagtrabaho, nag-overtime, o pumasok sa rest day na tumapat sa holiday.

BATAAN | September 25, 2026 — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bataan Provincial Office conducted the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Orientation and Contract Signing for 123 beneficiaries of the Bantay Pawikan Patrollers from the municipalities of Morong and Bagac.

The activity was spearheaded by Provincial Head Maylene L. Evangelista, together with TUPAD Focal Senior LEO Ms. Eloisa Mercado, who discussed the TUPAD program, including its guidelines, responsibilities, and other program provisions.

The beneficiaries will undertake 37 days of community-based work focused on the care and protection of pawikans (sea turtles). Through their assigned activities, the beneficiaries will work together in protecting pawikan nesting areas, supporting conservation efforts, and helping increase the population of these marine species.

The activity underscores the importance of providing temporary employment opportunities while supporting community-based efforts for the protection and conservation of pawikans in Bataan, under the guidance of Secretary Francis Tolentino.
