VISION
By 2024, the DOJ-PPA is the ASEAN's model of community-based corrections in crime prevention. MISSION
To rehabilitate and reintegrate persons on community-based corrections for peace and social justice. To promote the correction and rehabilitation of an offender by providing him with personalized community-based treatment;
2. To provide an opportunity for his reformation and reintegration i

nto the community;
3. To prevent the commission of offense; and
4. To uplift and redeem valuable human material to economic usefulness and to prevent unnecessary and excessive deprivation of personal liberty. FUNCTIONS
The Administration has the following functions:
a. Administer the parole and probation system;
b. Exercise supervision over parolees, pardonees and probationers;
c. Promote the correction and rehabilitation of criminal offenders;

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114 of the Office of the President directing all government agencies to adopt energy conservation measures, including the implementation of flexible work arrangements, all offices under the Parole and Probation Administration, Region III shall implement an alternative work arrangement consisting of four (4) days of on-site operations and a Work-From-Home arrangement every Friday, beginning Monday, 09 March 2026.

๐‘ฉ๐‘จ๐‘ณ๐‘จ๐‘ต๐‘ฎ๐‘จ ๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ป๐’€ โ€” In line with the observance of World Cancer Day, the Bataan Parole and Probation Office (BPPO) conducted a Lecture on Cancer Awareness and Prevention on February 4, 2026 at the Bahay Puso Apostolate Foundation.

The activity was facilitated by Ms. Iris S. Brilliante, Nurse Coordinator of the Balanga City Health Office, who provided valuable insights on cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. The lecture aimed to increase public awareness and empower participants with essential knowledge to help reduce cancer risks in the community.

Through initiatives such as this, BPPO continues to support health education programs that promote well-being and informed decision-making, reaffirming its commitment to community development and public health advocacy.

Throughout the month of January, the Bataan Parole and Probation Office consistently carried out various programs, interventions, and rehabilitative activities in faithful adherence to the Mandate, Mission, and Vision of the Parole and Probation Administration.

These initiatives included, but were not limited to, environmental protection and stewardship activities, continuing community service programs, faith-based and values formation interventions, gender and development (GAD) sessions, legal awareness lectures, and regular client reporting and supervision activities across the different municipalities of Bataan. Each activity was carefully designed to promote personal accountability, social responsibility, and positive behavioral change among clients.

Through the collective efforts of probation officers, volunteer probation assistants, partner agencies, and community stakeholders, the Office was able to strengthen client engagement and reinforce the principles of restorative justice and community-based corrections. These collaborative efforts continue to provide meaningful opportunities for clients to reflect, grow, and reintegrate as responsible and productive members of society.

The 4th day of the Performance Management Team (PMT) Audit was conducted virtually on November 12, 2025, focusing on the Zambales Parole and Probation Office (PPO). The activity was headed by OIC-ARD Jennifer G. Valencia, together with PMT Chair CPPO Frances O. Cabuquit, Co-Chair CPPO Gloria E. Peralta, Accountant II Mark Nicole L. Calilung, and AAII Mary Joy M. Gallardo, as part of the ongoing evaluation of field offices in Region III.
Subsequently, the 5th day of the PMT Audit was held at the Bataan Parole and Probation Office and the Olongapo City Parole and Probation Office, led by Jennifer G.
