Personnel of Bureau of Fire Protection Balangkayan Fire Station spearheaded by the Energetic Municipal Fire Marshall, SFO3 Pablito C Nadera, conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Fire Drill for the youth participants of Plan International at Barangay 05 Talisay, Balangkayan.

The activity aimed to enhance the participantsโ€™ awareness and preparedness in responding to fire emergencies through discussions on fire prevention, proper use of fire extinguishers, and basic evacuation procedures. A practical fire drill was also conducted to provide hands-on experience and promote the importance of staying alert and calm during emergency situations.

This initiative highlights the continued commitment of BFP Balangkayan in promoting fire safety awareness and building a safer and more prepared community.

The activity commenced with a parade, followed by a program highlighting and commemorating the rich history and heritage of Balangkayan.

Later in the day, Balangkayan FS personnel actively participated the "Laro ng Lahi" together with fellow participants from various agencies and LGU Offices, strengthening unity, sportsmanship and community spirit.

The personnel of Balangkayan Fire Station headed by SFO3 Pablito C Nadera successfully conducted a Fire Drill and Fire Safety Seminar at Balangkayan Senior High School through their ever active Principal Ma'am Emma Abot, as part of the continuous effort to strengthen fire safety awareness among students and school personnel.

The activity aimed to educate participants on proper fire prevention practices, emergency response, and safe evacuation procedures during fire incidents. Through this drill and seminar, students were able to gain practical knowledge and firsthand experience on how to respond calmly and effectively in case of fire emergencies.

The activity aims to strengthen fire safety awareness among students, teachers, and school personnel while promoting preparedness and proper response during fire emergencies.

This initiative is also part of the Community Relations Week, where the Balangkayan Fire Station actively visits schools and communities to foster partnership, cooperation, and shared responsibility in preventing fire incidents.

Through continuous education and preparedness activities, the Bureau of Fire Protection remains committed to ensuring a safer, more informed, and fire-ready community.
