The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pa-o formally joins the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, honoring the significant role of the youth as partners in governance, community development, and nation-building.

Anchored on the theme “Different Context, Common Aspirations,” this year’s celebration recognizes the diverse realities, experiences, perspectives, and circumstances that shape every young individual. While our contexts may differ, we remain united by common aspirations for a community that is inclusive, equitable, progressive, and responsive to the needs and potential of its youth.

Linggo ng Kabataan serves as an avenue to reaffirm the importance of meaningful youth participation, responsible leadership, active citizenship, and inclusive governance. It is an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among young people and stakeholders, encourage constructive engagement, and transform the ideas and aspirations of the youth into concrete actions that contribute to sustainable community development.

The SK Barangay Pa-o remains committed to creating opportunities where every young person is empowered to participate, lead, contribute, and make a meaningful difference. Through unity in diversity and collective action, we can build a future where no voice is overlooked and every aspiration is given the opportunity to flourish.

2nd KK Assembly | SK Pa-o, Balaoan, La Union

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pa-o, Balaoan, La Union, successfully conducted its 2nd Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly, strengthening youth participation through meaningful discussions, skills development, and opportunities for community engagement.

As part of the assembly, the Livelihood Program: Banana Jam Making provided the youth with practical knowledge in food processing and explored potential livelihood opportunities. Meanwhile, Project S.A.Y.A. (Sustainable Agriculture, Educating the Youth in Agribusiness) highlighted the importance of equipping young people with knowledge and skills in sustainable agriculture and agribusiness as pathways toward innovation, self-reliance, and economic empowerment.

The SK Pa-o extends its sincere appreciation to our resource speaker from the Department of Agriculture, Mr. Ezekiel Jay Gorospe, for generously sharing his valuable expertise, insights, and encouragement with the youth.

Through initiatives such as these, we continue to nurture a generation of young people who are skilled, empowered, productive, and ready to contribute to sustainable community development.

2nd Quarter KK Assembly 2026 📢

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Pa-o respectfully invites all Katipunan ng Kabataan Members of Brgy. Pa-o to attend the 2nd Quarter KK Assembly, which will be held on August 16, 2026 (Sunday), at 1:30 PM.

This assembly will serve as an opportunity to discuss important matters concerning the youth, present updates on ongoing programs and activities, and provide a platform for the active participation and involvement of our young constituents in community affairs.
