IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
In line with the Executive Order No. 13, Series of 2026 issued by the Municipality of Balayan, all residents, organizations, and barangays are hereby informed of the implementation of energy conservation and austerity measures.
This initiative is in response to the ongoing global energy crisis, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and ensure the sustainable use of resources while maintaining essential public services.
This E.O highlights SECTION 2 โ PRUDENT AND MODEST CONDUCT OF ACTIVITIES
All large-scale and resource-intensive activities are strongly discouraged, including:
โข Liga and sports tournaments
โข Concerts, shows, and entertainment events
โข Other similar non-essential gatherings
These activities must be scaled down, simplified, or postponed to avoid unnecessary expenses and excessive energy use.
The Local Government Unit urges everyone to cooperate and practice responsible energy use during this time. Let us prioritize essential services and work together for the welfare of our community.
Full compliance is expected as this order takes effect immediately.
