As more government services become available online, scammers are also finding new ways to deceive the public. Be cautious of fake messages, emails, websites, or social media posts pretending to be from the eGov PH Super App or government agencies.

To stay safe:

✅ Download the eGov PH Super App only from the official Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
✅ Verify that websites and social media pages are official before sharing personal information.
✅ Never share your password, One-Time Password (OTP), or verification codes with anyone.
✅ Be cautious of messages asking you to click suspicious links or provide sensitive information.
✅ Report suspicious messages or fake accounts to the appropriate authorities.

Remember, legitimate government agencies will never ask for your password or OTP through text messages, emails, or social media.

The DICT Guimaras Provincial Field Office, led by Mr. Michael S. Cabugatan Jr., Provincial Officer, together with the Free Internet Access Program Regional Office VI Team, successfully conducted the Bayanihan SIM Distribution at Dolores Elementary School, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras.

The Bayanihan SIM Project is one of DICT's initiatives aimed at expanding digital access by providing beneficiaries with SIM cards that help them stay connected to essential online services, educational resources, government platforms, and communication channels. Through improved connectivity, the program supports the government's vision of fostering digital inclusion and ensuring that no community is left behind in the country's digital transformation.

This activity also highlights the spirit of bayanihan—bringing together national government efforts and local communities to bridge the digital divide and create more opportunities for learning, communication, and economic participation through technology.

DICT remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering accessible, inclusive, and reliable digital services to every Guimarasnon, empowering individuals and communities to fully participate in today's increasingly digital world.

As part of its commitment to advancing digital government services, the DICT Guimaras Provincial Office deployed connectivity and provided eGovPH Super App technical support during the DSWD UPLIFT Payout Activity held on June 23, 2026, at the Jordan Municipal Covered Gym.

The activity was led by Mr. Michael S. Cabugatan Jr., Provincial Officer, together with Mr. Bryan Ga, Provincial Focal for ILCDB, and Mr. Jolaniel Gauzon, Information Officer I for the PNPKI and Cybersecurity Project.

Through the deployment of reliable internet connectivity and on-site technical assistance, the team helped ensure the smooth implementation of the payout activity while assisting more than 400 DSWD beneficiaries in accessing and utilizing the eGovPH Super App. This initiative supports the government's efforts to promote digital inclusion and improve public access to essential government services through technology.

While enjoying the convenience of public Wi-Fi, it is important to practice safe online habits. Avoid accessing sensitive accounts or entering personal information over unsecured networks. Whenever possible, use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and always log out of your accounts after each session.
