“𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙.”

Last November 25, 2025, The Global Warming and Climate Consciousness Week 2025 Symposium concluded with an eye-opening and deeply relevant discussion led by Dr. Mary Grace DC Padua, PhD, Supervising Ecosystems and Management Specialist of the Province of Aurora. Dr. Padua emphasized the urgent realities behind global warming and climate change—breaking down their fundamental principles, environmental processes, and the human-driven triggers that intensify their effects. Her clear explanations helped students connect science with the real-world environmental issues faced by our communities today.

Beyond understanding the problem, Dr. Padua also empowered the students with actionable ways to contribute to environmental protection. From mindful consumption and waste reduction to youth-led climate advocacy, she reminded everyone that meaningful change begins with everyday choices. Her message highlighted the critical role of young people in safeguarding our surroundings, our environment, and our planet for generations to come.

The symposium was followed by the Awarding Ceremony for the National Environmental Awareness Contest Winners, recognizing students who showcased excellence, creativity, and commitment to environmental advocacy.

In line with the Schools Division Memorandum on the Conduct of School-Level Tree Planting Activity, Aurora National Science High School proudly carried out its campus-wide tree planting initiative together with our active student-led organizations. With seedlings sourced from DENR–PENRO Aurora, student-leaders took part in a meaningful environmental action that supports DepEd’s commitment to sustainability and climate awareness.

Through this collaborative effort, our students, advisers, and partners demonstrated ecological stewardship and unity in nurturing a greener, healthier school environment. May these seedlings stand as living reminders of our shared responsibility to protect and care for the Earth. 🌿

In accordance with the School’s Division Memorandum No. 416, s. 2025, the Youth for Environment in School’s Organization (YES-O) is once again practicing environmentally conscious steps toward a sustainable future.

As active advocates for a greener campus, the YES-O along with other organizations and clubs such as the Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), Outfit 145, Sanglahi Club, Positron Society, and the Math Society are joining hands and planting seeds to rehabilitate and improve the ecological state of school grounds.

This November 29, 2025, join us as we collectively pave the way and contribute to growing a campus we’ll love. ✨🌲

In celebration of this year's Global Warming and Climate Change Consciousness week, the Youth for Environment in School's Organization along with the Positron Society are proudly spearheading a simply symposium. With the help of Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, students will be able to learn the various aspects that affect this phenomenon and how we can work together to stop it. ☘️🌱

In celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month 2025, the ANSHS YES-O and Positron Society invite all sections to join the Digital Slogan Making Contest centered on the theme: “𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.”

Each section may send 1 representative to craft an original, powerful digital slogan presented in an A4-sized digital format (any orientation), created using any digital editing or typing tool. Entries must be clear, readable, free of copyrighted materials, and saved as JPEG or PNG before uploading to the designated Google Drive folder. No identifying details of the participant or section should appear on the output; violations will lead to immediate disqualification.

All submissions will be assigned a unique code to ensure anonymous and fair judging based on creativity, clarity, impact, and relevance to the theme. 🌎

As part of our National Environmental Awareness Month 2025 celebration, the ANSHS YES-O and Positron Society proudly present the Digital Poster Making Contest with the theme: “𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.”

In celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month 2025, the ANSHS YES-O and Positron Society invite all sections to join our Essay Writing Contest anchored on the theme: “𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.”

Each section must send 2 participants—1 English and 1 Filipino writer. Essays should be original, within 5–10 paragraphs (max 5 sentences each), and must clearly discuss how circular practices like reducing waste, reusing resources, and promoting sustainable habits help strengthen environmental education and climate resiliency. Submit three printed A4 portrait copies (one for each judge) without any identifying details to any YES-O or Positron officer on or before 5:00 PM, November 20, 2025.

To ensure fairness, all entries will be assigned a paper code and judged based on relevance, depth of ideas, originality, and writing quality. ✏️
