A heartfelt commendation from DTI Aurora and NC Baler to one of our assisted MSMEs for winning First Place in the cooking challenge held as part of Filipino Food Month 2026: Galing sa Kusina – Timplang Aurora: Hain ng Magsasaka, on April 30, 2026 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Brgy. Suclayin, Baler, Aurora.

This achievement is the result of the shared effort of the husband-and-wife team behind Adeline’s Integrated Farm, who devoted their time, passion, and dedication to showcase the culinary excellence of Aurora. It is also worth highlighting that all ingredients used were sourced from their own organic farm, truly embodying a farm-to-table experience from harvest to plate.

The Small Business Corporation (SB Corp), under the Department of Trade and Industry, is now offering the E-Transport Loan Program to help drivers and operators shift to electric vehicles.

Who can apply:

TNVS drivers (Grab, JoyRide, inDrive)
Transport operators and fleet owners
Registered transport businesses

Loan features:

Up to ₱1.5 million per vehicle
Up to ₱3 million per borrower
Repayment up to 5 years
With 6 to 12 months grace period
About 1% monthly interest (diminishing)

Basic requirements:

Valid LTFRB authority (CPC or Provisional Authority)
Business registration (DTI or SEC)
Proof of active operations

In support of the government’s efforts to reduce operational costs due to the ongoing energy crisis, we would like to inform all interested participants of an important update regarding the conduct of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) Seminar 2026.

Instead of the 3 originally planned runs (DiCaDi area, Dingalan and Central Aurora), the seminar will now be conducted in a single run only on August 7–10, 2026, in Baler, Aurora.

This free seminar is open to all youth of Aurora. All expenses (food and accommodation) will be shouldered for the entire duration of the program.

📌Only twenty (20) slots are available, and participants will be selected based on the evaluation of their submitted business proposals.

On April 15, 2026, a Training on Basic Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, and Record Keeping was successfully conducted by Negosyo Center Baler as part of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Capability Building of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The activity equipped association members in Baler with essential knowledge and skills to:
✔️ Develop an entrepreneurial mindset
✔️ Strengthen financial discipline
✔️ Practice effective record-keeping for better decision-making and long-term sustainability

A total of 11 members actively participated in the training. Discussions also included:
📌 SB Corp loan programs to support business growth
📌 Basic bookkeeping and the importance of recording daily transactions

📌 One-on-one counselling on business registration processes

This initiative is a step forward in building stronger, more resilient community enterprises.
