The National Authority for Child Care (NACC) and 18 local government units (LGUs) in Central Luzon have strengthened their commitment to protect children and support families through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.

The participating LGUs are Abucay, Mariveles, Orani, Orion, and Pilar in Bataan; Balagtas and Pulilan in Bulacan; City of San Fernando, Arayat, Floridablanca, Guagua, Magalang, and Porac in Pampanga; Concepcion, Moncada, and San Manuel in Tarlac; and Iba and Subic in Zambales.

TINGNAN: Kusang-loob na sumuko ang isang dating miyembro ng armadong grupo sa 91st Infantry “SINAGTALA” Battalion ng Philippine Army. Kabilang siya noon sa grupong kumikilos sa mga hinterland ng bayan ng Dilasag at mga karatig-munisipalidad sa Aurora.

Ayon kay Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, Commanding Officer ng 91IB, ang bawat sumukong indibidwal ay may pagkakataong magkaroon ng mas ligtas at produktibong pamumuhay.

Aniya, patuloy na isinusulong ng batalyon ang seguridad sa lugar sa pamamagitan ng mga operasyon, pakikipag-ugnayan sa komunidad, at mga programang pangkaunlaran.

‎Attended by representatives of the Office of Senior Citizens Affair from the 17 municipalities and one city of Tarlac, the celebration culminates in a series of discussions and a caravan of services from various government agencies aimed at providing support, information, and essential services to elderlies.
