Michelangelo G Ramirez INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army, warmly received Mr. Vincent Paladio, Municipal Administrator of Baler Municipality, for a courtesy call and coordination meeting at Headquarters 91IB, Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora.

The engagement focused on matters concerning peace and security, including the territorial defense operational efforts of the 91IB within its area of operations. The meeting also served as an avenue to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the Philippine Army and the local government in addressing security concerns and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.

The 91IB remains committed to fostering strong partnerships with local government units and other stakeholders in advancing peace, security, and stability in Aurora.

๐—•๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ฅ, ๐—”๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ โ€” The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army, conducted a practical exercise for personnel undergoing Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) Training on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora.

The exercise focused on the three phases of TC3: Care Under Fire (CUF), Tactical Field Care (TFC), and Tactical Evacuation Care (TACEVAC), which provide a systematic approach to managing traumatic injuries in combat environments while taking into account the tactical situation and the timely evacuation of casualties.

Through hands-on scenarios, the participants applied classroom knowledge and practiced casualty assessment, the identification and management of life-threatening injuries, immediate lifesaving interventions, and the preparation of casualties for evacuation.

The activity also aimed to strengthen the participantsโ€™ confidence, teamwork, decision-making, and ability to provide rapid and effective casualty care during combat-related emergencies.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, underscored the importance of maintaining proficiency in lifesaving skills, emphasizing that soldiers must be prepared not only to accomplish their mission but also to protect the lives of their fellow personnel.

The practical exercise forms part of the battalionโ€™s continuing efforts to enhance the medical readiness, battlefield survivability, and overall operational preparedness of its personnel through realistic and skills-based training.

๐๐€๐‹๐„๐‘, ๐€๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ๐š โ€” The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion of the Philippine Army conducted dental examinations for its personnel in coordination with the 1367 Dental Dispensary of the Fort Magsaysay Army Support Hospital (FMASH) as part of the unitโ€™s Annual Physical Examination on Thursday, Aug. 20, at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan here.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, received Capt. Jan Denise J. De Guzman, officer-in-charge of the 1367 Dental Dispensary, FMASH, during a courtesy call and coordination meeting prior to the activity.

The meeting focused on the arrangements for the dental checkup of the battalion's personnel, also known as the Sinagtala Troopers.

Following the coordination, personnel underwent dental examinations conducted by the FMASH dental team as part of the unitโ€™s regular health assessment and efforts to maintain fitness for duty.

The activity forms part of the battalionโ€™s continuing efforts to promote the health and welfare of its personnel and help ensure their readiness to carry out assigned missions and duties.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, together with Maj. Gener E. Panganiban, battalion executive officer, received Engr. Jose Antonio C. Portillo, Overseas Representative of the President of the Association of Hispanic Legacy, during the engagement.

The meeting focused on the peace and security situation in Aurora and explored opportunities to further strengthen friendship and cooperation between Spain and the 91st Infantry Battalion.

The engagement underscored the importance of sustained coordination and mutual cooperation among stakeholders in promoting peace, security, and a stable environment in the province.

โ€ŽThe partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Aug. 12 at the school administrator's office of Wesleyan University of the Philippines-Aurora in Maria Aurora.

Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, during a courtesy call where they discussed measures to enhance the safety and security of students, faculty members, personnel, and the school community.

โ€ŽUnder the agreement, the 91IB will conduct lectures on West Philippine Sea (WPS) information awareness and support youth awareness activities concerning the potential recruitment and influence efforts of counter-terrorist groups (CTGs).

โ€ŽThe initiative aims to provide students and members of the academic community with information on national security concerns, responsible citizenship, and the importance of critical awareness when confronted with deceptive recruitment or influence efforts.
