𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑, 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐀 — On 25 August 2026, Lt. Col. Michelangelo G Ramirez INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army, warmly received Mr. Vincent Paladio, Municipal Administrator of Baler Municipality, for a courtesy call and coordination meeting at Headquarters 91IB, Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora.

The engagement focused on matters concerning peace and security, including the territorial defense operational efforts of the 91IB within its area of operations. The meeting also served as an avenue to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the Philippine Army and the local government in addressing security concerns and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.

The 91IB remains committed to fostering strong partnerships with local government units and other stakeholders in advancing peace, security, and stability in Aurora.

𝟵𝟭𝗜𝗕 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗖𝟯 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥, 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 — The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army, conducted a practical exercise for personnel undergoing Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) Training on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora.

The exercise focused on the three phases of TC3: Care Under Fire (CUF), Tactical Field Care (TFC), and Tactical Evacuation Care (TACEVAC), which provide a systematic approach to managing traumatic injuries in combat environments while taking into account the tactical situation and the timely evacuation of casualties.

Through hands-on scenarios, the participants applied classroom knowledge and practiced casualty assessment, the identification and management of life-threatening injuries, immediate lifesaving interventions, and the preparation of casualties for evacuation.

The activity also aimed to strengthen the participants’ confidence, teamwork, decision-making, and ability to provide rapid and effective casualty care during combat-related emergencies.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, underscored the importance of maintaining proficiency in lifesaving skills, emphasizing that soldiers must be prepared not only to accomplish their mission but also to protect the lives of their fellow personnel.

The practical exercise forms part of the battalion’s continuing efforts to enhance the medical readiness, battlefield survivability, and overall operational preparedness of its personnel through realistic and skills-based training.

𝟗𝟏𝐈𝐁 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑, 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 — The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion of the Philippine Army conducted dental examinations for its personnel in coordination with the 1367 Dental Dispensary of the Fort Magsaysay Army Support Hospital (FMASH) as part of the unit’s Annual Physical Examination on Thursday, Aug. 20, at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan here.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, received Capt. Jan Denise J. De Guzman, officer-in-charge of the 1367 Dental Dispensary, FMASH, during a courtesy call and coordination meeting prior to the activity.

The meeting focused on the arrangements for the dental checkup of the battalion's personnel, also known as the Sinagtala Troopers.

Following the coordination, personnel underwent dental examinations conducted by the FMASH dental team as part of the unit’s regular health assessment and efforts to maintain fitness for duty.

The activity forms part of the battalion’s continuing efforts to promote the health and welfare of its personnel and help ensure their readiness to carry out assigned missions and duties.

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥, 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 — The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion of the Philippine Army strengthened its coordination and partnership with the Association of Hispanic Legacy in support of peace and security efforts in Aurora during a courtesy call and coordination meeting at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan here on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, together with Maj. Gener E. Panganiban, battalion executive officer, received Engr. Jose Antonio C. Portillo, Overseas Representative of the President of the Association of Hispanic Legacy, during the engagement.

The meeting focused on the peace and security situation in Aurora and explored opportunities to further strengthen friendship and cooperation between Spain and the 91st Infantry Battalion.

The engagement underscored the importance of sustained coordination and mutual cooperation among stakeholders in promoting peace, security, and a stable environment in the province.

‎𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥, 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 — Personnel of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, Philippine Army, underwent the Philippine Army-wide Annual Marksmanship Training Program (AMTP) for Calendar Year 2026 on Aug. 13, 2026, at the battalion headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora.

‎Led by Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, the training was attended by the battalion’s officers and enlisted personnel and facilitated by the Unit Training Team, in coordination with personnel from the 7th Division Training School (7DTS).
‎
‎The training focused on pistol marksmanship, proper weapons handling, firearm safety procedures, and the application of prescribed firing techniques.
‎
‎The annual training forms part of the Philippine Army’s continuing capability development program aimed at maintaining personnel proficiency in the safe, proper, and responsible handling and use of issued fi****ms.
‎
‎It also provided participants with an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills while observing established range safety protocols and procedures.
‎
‎The 91st Infantry Battalion continues to conduct authorized training activities to enhance the professional competence, readiness, and operational capabilities of its personnel in the performance of their duties.

‎𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗥𝗔, 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 – The 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion of the Philippine Army and Wesleyan University of the Philippines-Aurora formalized a partnership on Wednesday to promote student security and awareness of national security issues.

‎The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Aug. 12 at the school administrator's office of Wesleyan University of the Philippines-Aurora in Maria Aurora.
‎
‎Prior to the signing, School Administrator Dr. Ferdinand E. Romano received Lt. Col. Michelangelo G. Ramirez, commanding officer of the 91st Infantry Battalion, during a courtesy call where they discussed measures to enhance the safety and security of students, faculty members, personnel, and the school community.
‎
‎Under the agreement, the 91IB will conduct lectures on West Philippine Sea (WPS) information awareness and support youth awareness activities concerning the potential recruitment and influence efforts of counter-terrorist groups (CTGs).
‎
‎The initiative aims to provide students and members of the academic community with information on national security concerns, responsible citizenship, and the importance of critical awareness when confronted with deceptive recruitment or influence efforts.
‎
‎Ramirez emphasized the importance of partnerships between the military and educational institutions in providing young people with relevant information and promoting community resilience.
‎
‎He said an informed and vigilant youth can contribute to efforts to maintain peace and security in their communities.
‎
‎The agreement also provides an avenue for the 91IB and Wesleyan University of the Philippines-Aurora to coordinate activities focused on information awareness, youth engagement, and security-related education.
‎
‎The partnership forms part of the 91IB's continuing engagement with academic institutions and other community stakeholders in support of peace, security, and public awareness initiatives in Aurora.
