23rd Development Policy Research Month

The Local Government Unit of Balindong joins the nation in celebrating the month of September as the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) with the theme "Reimagining Governance in the Age of AI."

This aims to promote and draw nationwide awareness on the importance of policy research in the formulation of national development plans, programs, and policies.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY⚠️

Please be advised that in line with the RUNaWATUn Color Fun Run on August 31, 2025, moderate to heavy traffic is expected along the official Fun Run route within the Municipality of Balindong, specifically between Barangay Salipongan to Barangay Bubong Cadapaan, from 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

Motorists and commuters are advised to plan their trips accordingly and consider alternative routes to avoid delays. Traffic enforcers and marshals will be deployed to manage the flow and ensure public safety.

The Local Government seeks everyone’s cooperation and understanding for the smooth and successful conduct of this event.

LGU Balindong Celebrates IDADAIT 2025

The Local Government Unit of Balindong, under the leadership of Hon. Amer-Reggie L. Bagul, joined the observation of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT).

In a Flag Raising Ceremony and a Signing of Pledge of Commitment on June 26, 2025, the municipal officials and employees of LGU Balindong, alongside MLGOO Sittie-Mariam D. Mangotara, Punong Barangays, MPS Balindong, Balindong Rural Health Unit, and MSSD Balindong gathered together to show support in the celebration of IDADAIT.

Vice Mayor Benjamin Bagul expressed the significance of raising awareness about the illegal use of drugs and trafficking. He also encouraged the Punong Barangays to strengthen their advocacy in creating a community free from abuse of illegal drugs.

Happy Independence Day, Philippines! 🇵🇭

In celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day, all employees of the Local Government Unit of Balindong, under the leadership of Hon. Amer-Reggie L. Bagul, Punong Barangays, and all line agencies in the Municipality lined up during the flag raising ceremony.

The Philippine flag was raised diligently to commemorate the said event.

To conclude the ceremony, Vice Mayor Benjamin M. Bagul put an emphasis on the importance of celebrating the Philippine Independence Day and the importance of maintaining humility at work.

LGU Balindong Gains an Outstanding Performance Award on Good Education Governance by Synergeia Foundation

As a recognition of the continuous commitment and dedication of LGU Balindong in attaining an effective governance in education, LGU Balindong, under the leadership of Hon. Amer-Reggie L. Bagul, was awarded for its Outstanding Performance in Education on February 6, 2025 by Synergeia Foundation.

The award is given for merit by the Synergeia Foundation to commend the outstanding performance of the local school board of the municipality in enabling all the children to read well and to finish schooling at the end of the school year.

This achievement was bestowed during the annual Washington Sycip National Education Summit in Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Following the Seal of Good Education Governance received by the Local Government in 2023, this recognition highlights the commitment of LGU Balindong, together with the Local School Board, in promoting a progressive quality education within the municipality.

LGU Balindong Earns Awards at the Pagkilala and CMCI Summit 2024

To commend the annual accomplishments of Local Government Units (LGUs) and local leaders in national programs and regional initiatives, LGU Balindong, under the leadership of Hon. Amer-Reggie L. Bagul, has been recognized for its exceptional performance in Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit during the Pagkilala 2024.

Pagkilala is a distinguished one-day awarding ceremony to acknowledge outstanding Local Government Units (LGUs) and local leaders for their exemplary performance throughout the calendar year.

This remarkable achievement was bestowed by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) – BARMM on January 20, 2025 at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex, Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City.

In the same month, Balindong was hailed as Top 1 in the Most Competitive: Economic Dynamism category during the 5th CMCI Summit, Best Among the BARMM organized by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao – Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism (BARMM-MTIT) through the Department of Trade and Industry Competitiveness Bureau (DTI–CB) – Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Program on January 16, 2025 at City Mall, Cotabato City.

Indeed, Balindong is a Rawaten.

Every year, the Business Permit and Licensing Office of Local Government Unit of Balindong and the regulatory offices from several agencies convene in one location to perform a yearly Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) in compliance with the implementation of Republic Act 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.”

Renew and get your business permit today at the Ground Floor of the Municipal Hall. The operation starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM

𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮!

Hon. Benjamin M. Bagul, Vice Mayor, led the Flag Raising Ceremony of the Local Government Unit of Balindong on Monday, January 6, 2025, marking the first Monday of the CY 2025.

The Flag Raising Ceremony was also joined by the Balindong Municipal Police Station and the Rural Health Unit of Balindong.

During the said ceremony, Vice Mayor Bagul gave emphasis on the importance of providing a continuous quality public service to the constituents of Balindong.

The annual Municipal Qur'an Reading Competition of the Local Government Unit of Balindong will be held on November 13, 2023, Wednesday, at Brgy. Lati, Balindong, Lanao del Sur.

Every participating barangay is encouraged to send one (1) male and one (1) female participants.

Those who are interested to join can opt to a walk-in registration on the day of the event. The registration will begin at exactly 7:00 AM.
