The 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴 proudly presents its 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, marked by 𝟭𝟳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 and 𝟯𝟲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 dedicated to strengthening youth participation, leadership, and community development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the 𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗖 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 who initiated this project, whose vision, commitment, and perseverance made these milestones possible. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to our 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 for their continued support of LYDC initiatives that empower and uplift the youth of Balindong.

On December 05, 2025, the Brave Advocates from six municipalities participated in a kumustahan session conducted by CFSI together with the UNICEF.

The session provided an avenue for the advocates to share the challenges and concerns they encountered in implementing the BRAVE Project. It also allowed them to exchange experiences and insights from the conduct of their respective programs.

Alhamdulillah, and congratulations to our Council Member, 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗗. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮, for successfully passing the November 2025 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗟𝗘) held in Cagayan de Oro City.

𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑱𝑬𝑪𝑻 𝑷𝑰𝑳𝑨𝑲 | 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

On September 21, 2025, the BRAVE Advocates officially launched Project Pilak, marking a beneficial process toward promoting the significance of birth registration. The implementation phase included outreach visits to three remote schools in the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲, 𝐁𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

The implementation was successfully carried out with the participation of children, teachers, and parents. The BRAVE Advocates were able to discuss the overview of Project Pilak, the Importance of Birth Registration, and the process of securing a birth certificate.

Imagine your child missing out on school, healthcare, and government support, simply because there’s no legal proof he even exists.

It is heartbreaking that we witness children out of school merely because they don’t have birth registration. We owe it to them to feel seen, heard, recognized, and acknowledged.

A simple piece of paper can determine a child’s future. With 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐊 together with 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐂 - 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠, we shed light on the vital importance of birth registration.

As part of this initiative, we will visit various schools across the Municipality of Balindong to discuss the essential role of birth registration in shaping children’s opportunities and securing their future.
