💦✨ ICYMI: Ang Mabuting Gawi ay Tungo sa Malusog na Buhay (Healthy Habits Lead to Healthy Life) | April 2026 Family Development Session

For April’s Family Development Session (FDS), we sat down with our beneficiaries to talk about how healthy habits truly lead to a healthy life. 🌱

The core of our discussion focused on something that affects us all: the proper disposal of human waste and garbage. We took a deep dive into the difference between sanitary and unsanitary practices, looking closely at how these choices impact not just ourselves, but our families, our neighbors, and our entire society. 🧐

We also talked about how easily illnesses can be transmitted when we aren't careful. It was a real eye-opener to see the direct link between our waste disposal methods and the health of our community. By choosing simple, clean practices like using sanitary toilets and managing our trash properly, we can stop bacteria and disease in their tracks. 🪳

Let’s bear in mind that small actions, when practiced consistently, create a big impact. Let’s continue to guide our families, especially the young ones, toward these healthier habits for a safer and stronger community. 💚

A warmest thanks to the LGU for providing our venues, and to our Municipal Links for guiding our grantees with such patience and care.

To God be all the Glory! ✨

|| UPDATES || 📢 🗣️

The 4Ps Provincial Operations Staff serving as validators, with assistance from the Municipal Operations Staff, successfully concluded the 4-day validation process for Set 14 potential beneficiaries conducted on April 16–17 and April 20–21, 2026 in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental. This activity aimed to ensure that only eligible and deserving families are included in the program through thorough validation of household information.

The 394 identified target households were based on the results of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Out of the said target households, a total of 200+ households were successfully validated during the scheduled field operations. The validation team worked diligently on the ground, conducting interviews and verifying information to uphold transparency and accuracy in the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The MOO extends its appreciation to all BLGUs, and community members for their cooperation and support throughout the activity.

Please be informed that the office will still cater to those who were absent during the validation schedule, as long as the 4Ps system remains open, to ensure that no qualified household is left unassessed.

This collective effort strengthens our commitment to delivering responsive and inclusive social protection services to Filipino families in need.

🏫💉 Monitoring Supply-Side Facilities: Ensuring 4Ps Support

The Municipal Links continue to monitor school and health facilities to check what’s available and what needs improvement. Access to these essential services is crucial for the success of the implementation of 4Ps and for supporting families’ health, education, and overall well-being.

By carefully documenting and presenting these gaps, we ensure that families’ health, education, and overall well-being remain a top priority. Together with our partners, we aim for stronger, more responsive support systems.

With faith, hope, and dedication, we continue to serve. ✨

✨🍎 ICYMI: Growing Together | Stronger Together

Last March 2026, our grantees from all thirty (30) barangays joined the Family Development Session (FDS) on “Backyard and Community Gardening.” It was reiterated to the parents to make the most of their yards and neighborhood spaces to grow fresh, healthy food while saving on daily expenses.

The session reminded everyone that gardening is not just about food—it’s about caring for your family, helping your neighbors, and building a stronger, more connected community. Even small steps, like planting vegetables in a backyard or shared space, can bring big changes.

A warmest thanks to the LGU for providing venues, and to our Municipal Links for guiding our grantees with patience and care.

Together, we are planting more than food—we are planting hope, health, and unity. 🌼

🌱✨|| UPDATES ||

Our 4Ps households continue to embrace backyard gardening / community gardening as a sustainable way to provide nutritious food for their families. By planting vegetables and other healthy crops right at home, families now have easy and accessible sources of fresh food—helping ensure better nutrition for children and reducing the risk of food insecurity. This simple yet powerful practice strengthens not only health but also self-reliance within the household.

🌿💚 More than just planting, backyard gardening / community gardening helps families save money and time from frequent market trips while promoting wise use of available space and resources. It empowers beneficiaries to take an active role in improving their well-being, proving that small efforts can lead to meaningful and lasting impact in everyday life.

🎓✨ Guiding Youth to Build Purposeful Paths Toward Financial and Career Success

This month's Youth Development Session (YDS) centered on Planning for My Financial Goals and Career Advancement. The session encouraged participants to reflect on their dreams, set realistic goals, and understand the importance of financial responsibility and career planning at an early age. Through open discussions and shared insights, the students were reminded that their aspirations are valid and that every small step they take today can lead them closer to a brighter future.

We extend our appreciation to our Municipal Links, who served as the resource speakers and generously delivered valuable knowledge and guidance with the students. More than just a learning session, it became a space of encouragement and empowerment—where young individuals were inspired to believe in their potential and take charge of their journey. 🌳

Our gratitude also goes to the school, headed by Dr. Florencia D. Ba-ang, and its faculty and staff for their constant support and coordination, and to the students for their active participation and openness to learning.

🥗🍎 Empowering families to ensure food security at the household level and build healthier, more resilient homes.

Our grantees across all thirty (30) barangays of the Municipality gathered for the February 2026 Family Development Session (FDS) with the topic "Food Security at the Household Level", emphasizing the importance of Bio-Intensive Gardening as a sustainable way to nourish every home. It reinforces the knowledge that even small spaces can grow healthy food, offering families a reliable source of fresh vegetables while reducing daily expenses. The session reminded everyone that growing food is not only about survival, but about dignity, self-reliance, and hope for a better tomorrow.

We extend our warmest gratitude to the BLGUs and the MLGU for continuously providing venues that made the sessions possible. We also acknowledge our resource persons, the Municipal Links, for their unending dedication and commitment in delivering valuable knowledge and guidance.

To God be all the Glory! ✨
