WORK AND CLASS SUSPENSION FOR KAINANG PAMILYA MAHALAGA DAY 2026

Bilang pakikiisa sa “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day”, ang pasok sa mga tanggapan sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Baliwag at klase sa mga pampublikong paaralan ay hanggang ika-1:00 ng hapon lamang, bukas, araw ng Lunes, September 28, 2026.

Samantala, ang mga pribadong sektor ay hinihikayat na sumunod alinsunod sa proklamasyon ng pangulo.

Magbabalik ang regular na operasyon sa Martes, September 29.

Alinsunod sa inilabas na Memorandum Circular No. 135 ng Malacañang, ipatutupad ngayong Setyembre 10, 2026, Huwebes, ang mga angkop na alternative work arrangements sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa Bulacan at iba pang lugar na sakop ng kautusan, dahil sa inaasahang patuloy na pag-ulan.

Samantala, magpapatuloy ang operasyon ng mga tanggapan na nagbibigay ng basic at health services, disaster preparedness at response, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo.

Para naman sa mga pampublikong at pribadong paaralan, ipatutupad ang alternative learning modes.

Work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools in the National Capital Region and 16 provinces will be suspended starting 1 p.m. today, August 28, 2026, due to the expected further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon by a Low-Pressure Area that has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Under Memorandum Circular No. 132, issued by Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the suspension covers the following areas:

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES AT ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS

Mananatiling ipatutupad ang alternative work arrangements sa mga pampublikong tanggapan sa Bulacan bukas, Huwebes, Agosto 20, 2026, alinsunod sa inilabas na memorandum ng Malacañang dahil sa patuloy na sama ng panahon dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Samantala, ipatutupad naman ang alternative learning modes para sa mga klase sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 129 ng Malacañang, magkakaroon ng alternative work arrangements sa lahat ng government offices at alternative delivery mode naman sa lahat ng antas ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod ng Baliwag bukas, August 19, 2026.

Government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and 17 provinces have been directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on August 19, 2026 as the government prepares for continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital government services will continue operating and providing necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers who are placed under alternative work arrangements will be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to existing rules and regulations.

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, schools in the identified areas are likewise directed to implement alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures at all levels in both public and private schools.

For areas not covered by the circular, local chief executives may order the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector remains at the discretion of management.
