As part of the continuous enhancement of operational preparedness and capability development, 𝑱𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑫 𝑺 𝑩𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑮𝑨𝒀, 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒕 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 – 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚, conducted a comprehensive training on Pistol and Rifle Marksmanship for all personnel of this unit as part of the Armed Self-Defense activities conducted under the leadership of 𝑱𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑱𝑬𝑵𝑵𝑰𝑭𝑬𝑹 𝑨 𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑶𝑷𝑬, 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 – 𝑭𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚.

In addition, the subject matter expert also facilitated lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises on defensive tactics, restraint and control techniques, and hand-to-hand self-defense under the Unarmed Self-Defense activities. The training aimed to strengthen the personnel’s competence, discipline, and readiness in responding to various security and emergency situations.

This activity highlights the commitment of the BJMP in promoting professionalism, tactical preparedness, and the safety of both personnel and persons deprived of liberty.

On May 26,2026 the 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 – 𝑭𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 successfully participated in the Opening Program of the 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙 (KKDK), held at the Baliwag City Jail – Male Dormitory. The activity was participated in by 𝙩𝙚𝙣 (10) 𝙛𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮 (PDLs) together with Mr. Gerard Mhel Tolentino, City Social Welfare and Development Officer.

The opening program highlighted the importance of unity, wellness, community support, and holistic rehabilitation among PDLs through meaningful programs and collaborative partnerships. KKDK aims to strengthen social awareness, mental wellness, discipline, camaraderie, and community involvement, providing opportunities for personal growth and positive transformation for all participants.

This meaningful activity was conducted under the leadership of 𝑱𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑴𝑰𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑬𝑳 𝑹 𝑫𝑬 𝑱𝑬𝑺𝑼𝑺, 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 – 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚, and spearheaded by 𝙅𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝙅𝙀𝙉𝙉𝙄𝙁𝙀𝙍 𝘼 𝙂𝘼𝙇𝙊𝙋𝙀, 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙬𝙖𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡 – 𝙁𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮, whose unwavering support and dedication continue to inspire rehabilitative and developmental programs for PDLs.

Personnels of the Baliwag City Jail–Female Dormitory, headed by 𝑱𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑱𝑬𝑵𝑵𝑰𝑭𝑬𝑹 𝑨. 𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑶𝑷𝑬, Acting City Jail Warden, took part in the Flag Raising Ceremony conducted at the Baliwag City Hall on May 26, 2026.

The gathering brought together local government officials, employees, and partner public safety agencies in a shared commitment to unity, cooperation, and dedicated public service for the community.

🧵👜 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮: 3-𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝘿𝙇

A total of Twenty-five (25) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of Baliwag City Jail – Female Dormitory successfully participated in the 3-Day Skills Training on Classy Bayong Bag Making facilitated by 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 and 𝙏𝙀𝙎𝘿𝘼 trainers from Baliwag, headed by 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐-𝑺𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏.

The activity aimed to provide livelihood skills and promote productivity, creativity, and self-improvement among the PDLs. Through this training, participants gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in creating classy and marketable bayong bags that may help them in future livelihood opportunities.

Baliwag City Jail – Female Dormitory remains committed to supporting programs that empower and develop the skills of PDLs as part of their rehabilitation and preparation for reintegration into the community.

This activity was conducted under the leadership of 𝙅𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝙅𝙀𝙉𝙉𝙄𝙁𝙀𝙍 𝘼 𝙂𝘼𝙇𝙊𝙋𝙀, 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣, whose continuous support strengthens programs focused on transformation, empowerment, and hope.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) joyfully participated in a heartfelt videoke activity filled with music, smiles, and moments of camaraderie. The activity aimed to uplift the spirits of the PDL and honor the unconditional love and sacrifices of all mothers. 🎤🎶

This meaningful celebration was headed by 𝑱𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑱𝑬𝑵𝑵𝑰𝑭𝑬𝑹 𝑨 𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑶𝑷𝑬, 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑱𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒏, under the supervision of the personnel of the jail unit, whose continuous support and dedication made the activity successful and memorable.

Through simple yet meaningful activities like this, the jail unit continues to promote wellness, emotional support, and positive engagement among the PDL.
