DepEd Region X has successfully completed a series of capacity-building initiatives, training over 2,200 educators and trainers to prepare for the implementation of the Revised Curriculum (Grades 6, 9, and 10) and the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum for School Year 2026–2027.

Led by Regional Director Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes, this collaborative effort ensures that schools are fully equipped to deliver responsive, learner-centered, and transformative education.

By fostering innovation and aligning learning experiences with 21st-century demands, DepEd Region X remains steadfast in its mission to nurture competent, resilient, and future-ready Filipino learners.

A total of 310 beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program have been deployed to nine public schools in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, to assist with Brigada Eskwela activities for the School Year 2026-2027.

The deployment is part of a partnership between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Education (DepEd) that combines school preparation efforts with temporary employment opportunities for disadvantaged workers.

Sinuportahan ni Education Secretary at Teacher Education Council (TEC) Chairperson Sonny Angara nitong Miyerkules ang pagpapatupad ng bagong scholarship program na tutulong sa 720 mag-aaral sa buong bansa na naghahangad maging g**o.

Pinangunahan ni Secretary Angara ang seremonyal na pagpirma sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA ) sa pagitan ng TEC at ng Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED-UniFAST) kasabay ng unang TEC Council Meeting para sa taong ito.

The Department of Education Region 10 has activated its Oplan Balik Eskwela-Public Assistance Command Center (OBE-PACC) in preparation for the opening of School Year 2026-2027.

The OBE-PACC serves as a central hub for inquiries, concerns, and complaints from students, parents, teachers, and the public. Through the assistance desk, DepEd-10 seeks to provide immediate responses to enrollment concerns and school opening-related issues.
