📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 | Municipality of Banate

By authority of the Municipal Mayor, classes in ALL LEVELS, both public and private schools, are hereby SUSPENDED this afternoon, July 10, 2026, due to the possible effects of Typhoon Inday.

This proactive measure is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, school personnel, and the entire Banate community as weather conditions continue to be closely monitored.

The corresponding Executive Order formalizing this class suspension shall be issued and posted shortly.

We encourage everyone to:
🌧️ Stay indoors whenever possible.
📱 Monitor official updates from PAGASA and the LGU Banate Official page.
🛡️ Prepare for possible heavy rains and strong winds.
🤝 Prioritize the safety of your family and loved ones.

Presenting the dynamic workforce of the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of Banate, Iloilo, a dedicated team committed to driving sustainable, inclusive, and data-driven development “from ridge to reef.”

Serving as the backbone of the municipality’s planning initiatives, the MPDO Planning Team works collaboratively to formulate and implement key development plans such as the CLUP and investment programs, enforce zoning and land use regulations, and generate reliable community-based data through CBMS. With expertise spanning planning, zoning, statistics, GIS, and administrative support, the team ensures that every policy and program is grounded in accurate data, responsive to community needs, and aligned with the municipality’s long-term vision.

Through field validation, mapping, and technical coordination, they translate plans into actionable outcomes guiding Banate toward a resilient, well-managed, and future-ready local government.
