Today ( February 20, 2024), the inauguration and blessing of the 3rd Maneuver Platoon located at Barangay Pinto, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao of the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company was administered by Pastor Aida Hubli.
It was graced by Mayor Edralin Alipio, Vice Mayor Agapito Dominguez, Sangguniang Bayan Member Mark Vincent Uy, and Mrs. Charina Uy with 2nd Ifugao PMFC represented by PLTCOL SAMSON L KIMAYONG, Force Commander, as well as PCPT CORNELIO A MARAWIS and PCPT ROMUALDO I GANO, the Platoon Leaders of 2nd and 3rd MP, respectively.
Mayor Alipio in his message recognized the importance of the said unit to beef up peace and order in the municipality and assured his full support to its immediate needs allocating the initial amount of PhP150,000.00 for its operating expenses.
PLTCOL KIMAYONG on his part conveys his heartfelt gratitude to all those who have taken part and shared a helping hand on the said project. Assuring the community of highly professional, incorruptible and credible police officers.
This is a major milestone in 2nd IPMFC’s commitment to its mandate and functions as a public safety force covering District II of the Province of Ifugao as it would not have been possible without the resources received from generous individuals and without the support from the Local Government Unit of Alfonso Lista. It is a testament to the PNP's efforts to work in partnership with a responsive community towards the attainment of a safer place to live, work and do business.
