PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Please be informed that there will be NO OFFICE TRANSACTIONS at the Municipal Government of Banayoyo tomorrow, September 4, 2026 (Friday).

In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, LGU Banayoyo officials and employees will be participating in a Banana Planting Activity (2nd wave) as part of the municipality’s continuing efforts to promote environmental stewardship, sustainable agriculture, and public service beyond the workplace.

Regular office transactions will resume on the next working day.

The Local Government Unit of Banayoyo proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) this September 2026, with the theme:

“Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

This celebration honors the dedication, integrity, and excellence of our civil servants who remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the Filipino people.

May this occasion inspire every government worker to continue serving with puso, uphold dangal in public service, and demonstrate galing in fulfilling our duties and responsibilities.

DAY 1 | FOOD PACK DISTRIBUTION FOR TYPHOON PILANDOK-AFFECTED FAMILIES

Despite the continuous rain and challenging weather conditions, the LGU Banayoyo continues to bring much-needed assistance directly to families affected by Typhoon Pilandok.

The delivery and distribution of food packs was successfully carried out under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Alexander G. Galanga, together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), PNP-Banayoyo, and the Binnuyog Banayoyo Emergency Response Team.

The rain did not stop our team from reaching affected communities and delivering essential assistance to our constituents. Rain or shine, serbisyo publiko ay tuloy-tuloy!

This activity reflects the LGU’s commitment to ensuring that no family is left behind, especially during times of calamity.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!

Due to the continued heavy rainfall brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the recent effects of Typhoon Pilandok, and pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 133 of the Office of the President, the following arrangements shall be observed in the Municipality of Banayoyo tomorrow, September 1, 2026 (Tuesday):

LGU BANAYOYO

LGU employees shall adopt a WORK-FROM-HOME ARRANGEMENT to allow personnel to attend to necessary clean-up and repairs in their homes and properties affected by Typhoon Pilandok and the continuous rains. Personnel performing disaster response, health, clearing, and other vital and essential services shall continue to render the necessary services.

PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS

All public and private schools at ALL LEVELS shall adopt MODULAR LEARNING to ensure learning continuity while giving students, teachers, and families an opportunity to attend to clean-up and repairs following the effects of the typhoon and Habagat.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and continue monitoring official weather and LGU advisories.

Nawa’y patuloy na magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang katapangan upang maglingkod tayo sa ating mga komunidad nang may integridad, malasakit, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Kilalanin din natin ang mga pang-araw-araw na bayani sa ating paligid—ang mga taong walang pag-iimbot na nagsisikap para sa kapakanan at pag-unlad ng iba.

RAIN OR SHINE, WE GROW TOGETHER!

Despite the rainy weather, the Local Government Unit of Banayoyo, headed by Mayor Alexander G. Galanga, successfully conducted the Planting Activity of Banana Suckers today, August 28, 2026, in support of the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Production Program.

Municipal officials and employees, together with barangay officials, actively participated in the activity. The rain did not dampen their enthusiasm nor hinder their commitment to carrying out this meaningful initiative.

The activity forms part of the LGU’s continuing efforts to strengthen local agricultural production, promote sustainable livelihood opportunities, and support the development of Banayoyo’s local products.

Rain may fall, but our commitment to progress continues to grow.
