“Through the Government Internship Program, we are not only providing temporary employment but also equipping our youth with valuable experience, skills, and a deeper understanding of public service,” Mayor Galanga said.
The GIP recipients are set to serve from March to September 2026 and will be assigned to various offices within the Local Government Unit of Banayoyo.
Meanwhile, PESO Manager Helen Custodio highlighted the significance of the program in developing the employability and professionalism of young individuals.
“The GIP is a stepping stone for our youth to gain work experience and prepare them for future career opportunities. It builds confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic,” Custodio stated.
