The validation of the 98 (PUSO ti Kakbabaihan) beneficiaries under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program was conducted, headed by the PESO Manager of Banayoyo, Ms. Helen P. Custodio, and graced by the presence of Hon. Mayor Alexander G. Galanga, a representative from the Office of Congresswoman Kristine Singson-Meehan, Mr. Allan, and personnel from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Ilocos Sur Field Office I.

Each beneficiary received ₱10,100 after successfully completing 20 days of emergency employment, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing temporary livelihood opportunities while promoting community development.

𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗚. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 attended the payout. He said the beneficiaries rendered meaningful public service through various community-based activities. He emphasized that the TUPAD Program is for everyone. It provides financial assistance to families and also contributes to building cleaner, safer, and more resilient Banayoyo.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭, TUPAD Focal Person, and co. together w/ the PESO staff led by PESO Mgr. Helen P. Custodio facilitated the successful and orderly payout.

The Local Government Unit of Banayoyo successfully concluded its 20-day SPES summer employment program, awarding cash incentives to 40 student beneficiaries. Municipal Mayor Hon. Alexander G. Galanga, together with the Municipal Treasury Office and PESO Manager Helen P. Custodio, personally handed over the LGU’s counterpart funds to the students.
