Today, we commemorate the life, courage, and sacrifice of Benigno β€œNinoy” Aquino Jr., a Filipino leader whose unwavering love for the country became a symbol of courage, freedom, and democracy.

His life reminds us that true patriotism is not only shown through words, but through the willingness to stand for what is right, even in the face of fear and adversity. His sacrifice became part of our nation’s history and continues to inspire Filipinos, especially the younger generation, to value freedom, speak with courage, and take part in building a better Philippines.

As we remember Ninoy Aquino, may we also remember the responsibility that comes with the freedom we have today. Let us honor his legacy by becoming responsible, courageous, and compassionate Filipinos who continue to care for our nation and for one another.

The moment you have been preparing for has finally arrived. Every practice, every challenge, every early morning, and every sacrifice has brought you one step closer to this moment. As you step onto the field and represent Malaya National High School, carry with you not only your skills, but also the pride of the people who believe in you.

Compete with courage, play with discipline, and never let fear be greater than your determination. Win or lose, remember that every game is an opportunity to learn, grow, and prove what you are capable of. Trust your training, trust your teammates, and most importantly, trust yourself.
