📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

The LIBASKETBALL INTER-BARANGAY JUNIORS LEAGUE 2026 brought to you by SK Council of Barangay Libas headed by Hon. Kevin Andrade is now accepting teams!

Slots are almost running out so better be hurry!

💵 Entry Fee: 4,000
🏆 Grand Champion: 20K | 1st Runner-Up: 15K | 2nd Runner-Up: 10K
📅 Deadline of all submissions: February 15, 2026
Subject to change depending on team approvals.

‼️ Rules and Regulations ‼️

1. Eligibility ng Players

Ang liga ay bukas lamang sa mga players na may edad 16 hanggang 25 years old.
Ang lahat ng players ay dapat mag-present ng valid ID bilang patunay ng edad at residency. (Barangay ID is not allowed)
Ang bawat team ay dapat binubuo ng majority ng players na bonafide residents ng barangay na kanilang nirerepresent.

Pinapayagan ang hanggang DALAWANG (2) IMPORTS kada team, subject sa sumusunod:

- Ang 2 imports ay dapat mula sa magkaibang barangay/municipality
- Hindi residente ng barangay na kanilang nilalaruan
- Ang lahat ng natitirang players ng team ay dapat residente ng iisang barangay.
- Ang isang player ay isang team lamang ang maaaring salihan sa buong liga.

2. Team Composition

Maximum of 15 players per team.
Minimum of 12 players para makapaglaro.
Mga players, isang (1) Head Coach at isang (1) Team Manager lamang ang allowed sa bench.

3. Registration

NO SCREENING, NO PLAY.
Lahat ng teams ay kailangang mag-register on or before the deadline.

Required sa registration:
- Official team roster
- Photocopy ng valid ID ng players
- Registration fee

Walang palitan o dagdag ng players pagkatapos magsimula ang liga.
Once finalize and team decided to back out the entry fee will not be refunded.

4. Uniforms

Required ang pare-parehong overall uniform na may malinaw na jersey number sa harap at likod.
Bawal maglaro nang walang tamang uniform.

5. Game Proper

Official FIBA Rules ang susundin.
Bawat laro ay binubuo ng:

- 4 quarters (8 minutes bawat quarter)
- 2-minute break bawat quarter

Shot clock at game clock ay susundin kung available.

6. Default at Late

Ang team ay dapat present 15 minutes bago ang scheduled game.
May 10-15 minutes grace period kung kulang sa players.
Kapag hindi pa rin kumpleto matapos ang grace period, ma-de-default ang team.

7. Referees at Officials

Ang desisyon ng referees ay final at irrevocable.
Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang:

- Pakikipagtalo sa referees
- Pananakot, pagmumura, o disrespect
- shame postings on social medias

Ang violations ay may katumbas na technical foul, suspension, o disqualification.

8. Sportsmanship at Discipline

Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang:

- Pisikalan
- Trash talking
- Provoking ng kalabang team o audience

Ang sinumang player, coach, o spectator na magdudulot ng gulo ay maaaring:

- Paalisin sa venue
- Suspendihin o i-disqualify
- Automatic suspension sa sinumang masangkot sa suntukan.

9. Protests

Ang protesta ay dapat:
- Nakasulat
- Isinumite within 24 hours matapos ang laro

Ang desisyon ng league committee ay final.

10. Injuries at Safety

Ang liga at organizers ay hindi mananagot sa anumang injury.
Lahat ng players ay naglalaro sa sariling risk.
Recommended ang proper warm-up at tamang basketball gear.
Pinagbabawalan na maglaro ang mga lasing.

11. Awards

Team Awards:
Champion
1st Runner-Up
2nd Runner-Up

Individual Awards:
MVP (Season and Finals)
Mythical Five

12. Amendments

Ang league organizers ay may karapatang mag-amend ng rules kung kinakailangan.
Lahat ng changes ay ipapaalam sa team representatives at magiging effective agad.

The stage is set and the energy is high as we officially open the Linggo ng Kabataan 2025—a celebration of youth, culture, and community spirit!

We begin the day with two exciting fitness events to get everyone moving and energized:
🏃‍♂️ Fun Run – Starting at 5:30 AM from Banga Plaza
💃 Zumba Session – 7:00 AM at Libas Multipurpose Pavement

After that, it’s time for some classic Filipino games that showcase teamwork, agility, and joy! Join us at the Libas Multipurpose Pavement for our Laro ng Lahi, featuring:
🎯 Sack Race
🎯 Tug of War
🎯 Pinoy Henyo
🎯 Putok Lobo
🎯 Catch the Egg
🎯 Balloon Relay

These traditional games are not only fun—they help strengthen friendships and revive the values of unity and camaraderie in our youth.
