PAGKILAEA 2026 🩵☝️

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our sincerest thanks to the Provincial Youth Development Office and the Provincial Government of Aklan for recognizing and celebrating the achievements, dedication, and hard work of the youth sector through PAGKILAEA 2026.

We are deeply honored that LGU Banga and PPSK Banga were recognized with the following awards:

🏆 LYDO and SK Exemplary Compliance Award
🌱 Outstanding Implementer of Project GROW
🥈 2nd Runner-Up – Food Innovative Challenge

These accomplishments are a testament to the power of collaboration, commitment, and genuine service to our fellow youth. None of these would have been possible without the efforts and leadership of our Local Youth Development Office, Sir Pabs Abee Arboleda, the dedicated SK Chairpersons of the Municipality of Banga, the Municipal Agriculture Office, and the 4H Club Banga Chapter.

We also extend our deepest appreciation to LGU Banga, under the leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Noel Redison, for the continuous support and guidance given to youth development programs and initiatives.

These recognitions inspire us to work even harder, innovate further, and continue creating meaningful opportunities that empower the young people of Banga.

Congratulations to all the awardees, youth leaders, and partners who continue to champion positive change. This achievement belongs to all of us. ☝️

🌱 GROW: Growing Resilient Opportunities for Wellness 🌱

In Celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

Earlier today, the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) of Banga proudly joined 17 other municipalities across the Province of Aklan in the simultaneous implementation of GROW: Growing Resilient Opportunities for Wellness. This meaningful initiative promoted health, sustainability, community engagement, and youth empowerment.

As part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the activity served as a platform for learning, collaboration, and action toward building healthier and more resilient communities.

🌍 The program was anchored on three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

🌾 SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
Promoting food security and sustainable agricultural practices through community-based initiatives.

💚 SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being
Enhancing awareness on health and wellness through informative discussions and educational activities.

🤝 SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
Strengthening partnerships among youth organizations, local government agencies, and community stakeholders to achieve sustainable development.

In partnership with the 4H Club, Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), and the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), participants benefited from the following activities:

🩺 Health and Wellness Talk
conducted by Dr. Niña Charlyn Alba, Doctor to the Barrio, who shared valuable knowledge on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and prioritizing overall well-being.

🌱 4H Club Orientation
facilitated by Jonard Tobese, 4H Club Provincial President, introducing participants to the opportunities and programs offered by the 4H Club in the areas of leadership, agriculture, and community development.

🥬 Vegetable Gardening Session
led by Eugenio Beltran, HVCDP Coordinator, where participants learned practical and sustainable gardening techniques that can help improve household food security.

🌿 Community Food Pantry and Seedlings Distribution
which encouraged the youths to start their own gardens and contribute to sustainable food production.

The success of this activity was made possible through the collective efforts and support of our partners, resource speakers, organizers, and participants. Through initiatives like GROW, we continue to empower the youth and promote meaningful actions that contribute to a healthier, greener, and more sustainable Municipality of Banga.

Together, we learned, grew, and strengthened our commitment to building resilient communities for future generations. 💚🌾

The Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan proudly congratulates all SK Chairpersons of Banga, Aklan for successfully submitting their 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation Reports through the NYC SK Web Portal.

Despite setbacks and technical difficulties, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Banga, with the help and immeasurable guidance of the ever-supportive Local Youth Development Officer, Mr. Pabs Arboleda, successfully complied with the submission before the deadline on March 31, 2026.

We are truly grateful for everyone’s dedication and cooperation. As we enter our final year in service, we remain steadfast in upholding our duties and responsibilities, committed to delivering meaningful programs and genuine service for the youth.

This success in promoting transparency and governance is for all the youths of Banga!

PPSK Banga proudly celebrates the victory of our Women’s Volleyball Team as they dominated in straight sets, 28–26 and 25–21, against the resilient Numancia Builders, last year’s Bronze Medalists.

The match was held at Maloco, Ibajay — and Team Banga delivered nothing but grit and excellence.

Team Banga took control from the opening tip-off, dominating the hardcourt and cruising to a 99–75 victory over Team Altavas at Poblacion, Balete, Aklan. With fast breaks, sharp shooting, and a lockdown defense, Banga set the pace early and never looked back.

Altavas fought hard, hustling for every loose ball and trying to break Banga’s rhythm, but the Banganhon cagers’ full-court pressure, clutch plays, and disciplined rotations proved too much to handle.

Their teamwork and ex*****on kept the scoreboard in Banga’s favor throughout the game.

Congratulations to Team Banga, the coaches, and all supporters for bringing pride to the town!💚💛
