The Aklan State University Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) convened today, July 1, 2026, for a meeting to discuss matters related to the effective implementation of policies and procedures that uphold professionalism, respect, fairness, and accountability within the University.
The meeting served as a venue to review ongoing initiatives, strengthen coordination among committee members, and ensure that concerns are addressed in accordance with due process, confidentiality, and existing laws, rules, and university policies.
Among the key agenda discussed were:

Review of the Committee's roles, functions, and responsibilities;

Updates on pending and ongoing CODI matters;

Discussion of procedures and protocols in handling complaints, ensuring due process, fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality; and

Other matters, including the continuous conduct of information dissemination and orientation campaigns to increase awareness of the University's policies, reporting mechanisms, and commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful learning and working environment.
