DTI ABRA LAUNCHES 26TH NEGOSYO CENTER AND CELEBRATES OPENING OF OTOP STORE IN TUBO

A significant milestone in promoting entrepreneurship and local economic development was achieved with the successful launch of the Negosyo Center in LGU–Tubo, Abra, marking the establishment of the 26th Negosyo Center in the province.

The Negosyo Center serves as a one-stop service facility for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), providing accessible business registration assistance, entrepreneurial advisory services, business information, capacity-building seminars, skills training, and other support programs designed to empower local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.

Adding to this achievement, the Municipality of Tubo also officially opened its One Town, One Product (OTOP) Store, becoming the third local government unit in Abra to establish an OTOP Store. This development underscores the municipality’s strong commitment to promoting and showcasing its locally made products, supporting community-based enterprises, and creating greater market opportunities for local producers and artisans.

The establishment of the Negosyo Center and the opening of the OTOP Store highlight the shared commitment of DTI Abra, the Local Government Unit of Tubo, and partner stakeholders to strengthen entrepreneurship, promote local products, and stimulate inclusive economic growth. These initiatives provide entrepreneurs with improved access to business support services while creating a platform to showcase the unique products and craftsmanship of Tubo.

Through these efforts, Tubo continues to pave the way for a more vibrant and resilient local economy, generating increased livelihood opportunities and empowering communities through enterprise development.
