𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐇𝐂! 💙

Municipal leaders and health stakeholders from La Paz, Luba, Bucay, San Juan, and Bucloc, Abra, came together for Module 1 of the Municipal Leadership and Governance Program (MLGP) for Universal Health Care (UHC), focused on “Leading Change thru Deepened Ownership and Co-Ownership towards UHC.”

The activity brought together the participating Municipal Health Teams, with the support and participation of the Provincial DOH Office–Abra (PDOHO-Abra) and the Provincial Health Office (PHO)-Abra, including health personnel who provided technical support throughout the learning activity.

Together, Abra’s local leaders and health partners continue to strengthen collaboration, mobilize resources, and build more responsive and accessible health systems toward Universal Health Care.

Sa mga panahong mataas ang temperatura, mahalagang maging alerto at gawin ang mga kinakailangang hakbang upang maiwasan ang heat-related illnesses, lalo na ang heat exhaustion at heat stroke.

DOH: PROTEKTAHAN ANG SARILI LABAN SA MATINDING INIT

Ang El Niño ay nangyayari kapag umiinit ang malaking bahagi ng Karagatang Pasipiko. Dahil dito, mas mainit ang panahon at mas kaunti ang ulan sa loob ng ilang buwan. May ulan pa rin, pero hindi ito kasing dalas ng karaniwan.

Kung may makitang palatandaan ng heat stroke, tumawag agad sa National Emergency Hotline 911 o dalhin sa pinakamalapit na health facility sa inyong lugar.

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! | 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝟴–𝟬! 🏆💛

Group 2 – Team Mighty Servants are the 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 of the Women’s Volleyball competition in the Province of Abra Inter-Agency Sports Festival, held in celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service Commission!

Represented by PDOHO-Abra Human Resources for Health and colleagues from other agencies, the team completed an impressive undefeated 8–0 run, from the elimination rounds all the way to the championship.

Beyond the victory, the experience reminds us that sportsmanship, teamwork, camaraderie, and respect bring people from different agencies together toward one goal.

We thank all the supporters, coaches, and everyone who cheered and stood behind Team Mighty Servants, especially Head Coach Mr. Felix S. Damian, for their guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout the competition. 💛💙
