The DILG La Paz Municipal Field Office conducted an Executive Briefing on the LGU Observations Report of the Municipality of La Paz, Abra on September 3, 2026, as part of the Supervised Field Work under the Apprenticeship Program for Local Government Operations Officers II and III.

LGOO III Rommel Keith T. Minong presented the report, highlighting the municipalityโ€™s good practices, accomplishments, areas for improvement, and recommended actions to strengthen local governance and service delivery.

During the discussion, Mayor Danielle Belynne B. Bernos emphasized the importance of ensuring that programs and projects are responsive to actual community needs and are matched with the LGUโ€™s available staffing, resources, and implementation capacity. She also highlighted the value of strengthened data management and practical performance monitoring in identifying beneficiaries, guiding local decisions, and assessing the results of programs and projects.

MLGOO Daryll Jane T. Paz thanked the municipal officials and functionaries for their cooperation and noted that the observations and recommendations can serve as additional inputs for local planning and continuous improvement.

The activity marked the culmination of the field observation and validation activities undertaken in the Municipality of La Paz and provided an opportunity for shared reflection on how the LGU can continue building on its strengths while addressing areas for improvement.

The DILG-Villaviciosa Field Operating Unit successfully conducted an Executive Briefing of the LGU Observations Report of the LGU Villaviciosa on September 3, 2026 at the SB Session Hall, Municipal Compound, Poblacion, Villaviciosa, Abra. The activity was conducted as part of the requirements of the Apprenticeship Program for Local Government Operation Officers II and III โ€“ Batch 60.

During the Executive Briefing, MLGOO Normita C. Venus provided an overview of the activity highlighting the process undertaken by the apprentice in preparing with the LGU Observations Report. LGOO II Christian Laguiwed, presented the LGU Observations Report focusing on key findings across the municipalityโ€™s development sectors.

Mayor Marjorie L. Lagen expressed gratitude for the opportunity to reflect on the municipalityโ€™s best practices, identify areas for improvement, and further enhance the delivery of services to the community. She also assured that the points and observations raised during the discussion will be acted upon.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | DILG-Dolores Field Operations Office through LGOO VI Elizabeth B. Layugan and LGOO III Joseph D. Lopez conducted an Executive Briefing for the LGU Observation Report for the Municipality of Dolores on September 2, 2026.

During the briefing, LGOO III Lopez presented the municipalityโ€™s best practices, challenges, and recommended actions for improving implementation of program and service delivery.

Municipal Mayor, Hon. Conde T. Turqueza, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and municipal functionaries actively participated in the activity. After the presentation, Mayor Turqueza requested that the copy of the report be furnished to the LGU to further strengthen and improve their administration and public service delivery.

LGOO VI Layugan thanked the municipal officials and functionaries for supporting the Apprenticeship Program, particularly the Supervised Field Work component. She underscored that the findings may serve as valuable inputs in preparing plans to develop more responsive programs, projects, and activities to the community.

Municipal Mayor Fernando A. Semanero, Jr. warmly welcomed MLGOO Campo and expressed his hope for a stronger and closer partnership between the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sal-lapadan and the DILG.

Nagsagawa ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Abra ng isang talakayan hinggil sa Executive Order No. 70, na pinamagatang โ€œInstitutionalizing the Whole-of-Nation Approach in Attaining Inclusive and Sustainable Peace, Creating a National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, and Directing the Adoption of a National Peace Framework,โ€ bilang bahagi ng Reserve Officersโ€™ Training Corps (ROTC) Weekly Training noong Agosto 22, 2026, (Sabado) sa UA Gymnasium, Poblacion, Lagangilang, Abra.

Nakatuon ang talakayan sa Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) at Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), na naglalayong ipaliwanag ang whole-of-nation approach ng pamahalaan sa pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng mga komunidad at pagsusulong ng inklusibo at pangmatagalang kapayapaan at kaunlaran.

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapalawak ang kaalaman at kamalayan ng mga estudyante tungkol sa mga inisyatibo, programa, at proyekto ng pamahalaan para sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran. Hinihikayat din nito ang mga estudyante na maging aktibong katuwang sa pagpapanatili ng mapayapang pamayanan at pagsuporta sa mga pagsisikap para sa kaunlaran sa kani-kanilang mga lokal na pamahalaan.

Sa pamamagitan ng aktibidad na ito, pinagtibay ng DILG Abra ang pakikipagtulungan at ugnayan nito sa security sector at iba pang mga katuwang sa pagsusulong ng kapayapaan at kaayusan hanggang sa antas ng mga barangay, habang hinihikayat ang kabataan na makibahagi sa pagbuo ng mapayapa, matatag, at maunlad na mga pamayanan.
