Due to the ongoing passage of Severe Tropical Storm Emong in the Province of Ilocos Norte, your INEC GM Cipriano “Perry” E. Martinez III has requested to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines the cancellation of their scheduled shutdown today, 24 July 2025.

We thank our partners from the NGCP for heeding to INEC’s request to postpone today’s interruption to safeguard the welfare of our MCOs and line crew during the inclement weather condition caused by Severe Tropical Storm Emong.

Please be informed that there will be a 9 hours NGCP POWER INTERRUPTION scheduled on July 24, 2025 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the “NGCP Periodic Testing of Instrument Transformer for the Metering Point of INEC-Burgos Substation & Replacement of Grounding Conductors for the Metering Point of Northwind 1 and 2.”

The areas affected for the said interruption are as follows:
Whole area: ADAMS, BANGUI, BURGOS, DUMALNEG, and PAGUDPUD
BACARRA: Brgys. Pasngal, Cadaratan, Pungto, Cabusligan except Sitio Bangsirit
PASUQUIN: Whole area except Brgys. Pangil, Sta. Catalina and Sitio Rango of Brgy. Darupidip

INEC GM Cipriano “Perry” E. Martinez III has given instructions to your INEC team to monitor the timely completion of the works on the NGCP Activities and ensure that power supply shall be immediately restored on or before the requested schedule of interruption. Rest assured that your INEC shall closely work and coordinate with the NGCP o lessen the inconvenience this NGCP requested interruption might cause you.
