Good evening, Norteños!💙💛

The Samahang Norte Youth Organization informs everyone that classes in ALL LEVELS, both PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS throughout the Province of Ilocos Norte, are SUSPENDED tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

🌧️ WHY ARE CLASSES SUSPENDED?

The suspension is being implemented because of the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which may bring persistent rains and potentially hazardous weather conditions across Ilocos Norte. These conditions may result in flooding, slippery and dangerous roads, possible landslides, poor visibility, and other risks to students, teachers, school personnel, and commuters.

The suspension is therefore a preventive measure to prioritize the safety and welfare of everyone. Rather than putting our students, teachers, and school personnel at risk while traveling to and from school, classes are temporarily suspended to allow everyone to remain in a safer place and monitor the developing weather situation.

To all students, please use this time to stay safe at home, monitor official updates, and avoid unnecessary travel. To our parents and guardians, please make sure that your children remain in a safe place and are properly informed about the weather situation.

To our teachers and school personnel, please continue to monitor the official advisories from the appropriate government and education authorities for further instructions.

Good day, everyone! We would like to inform our valued clients, partners, friends, and supporters that ThreadSketch Studio will have NO WORKS / NO DESIGN SERVICES Tomorrow due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the prevailing rainy weather conditions. ⛈️🌧️

For the safety of everyone, our operations and design-related work will be temporarily paused while the weather condition remains unfavorable. We believe that safety must always come first, and we encourage everyone to stay indoors whenever possible, avoid unnecessary travel, and remain alert for weather updates and local advisories. 🙏💚

Because of the weather, there may also be delays in responding to messages, accepting design requests, processing revisions, and completing ongoing projects. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary pause may cause and kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we prioritize everyone's safety. ❤️

🌱♻️ REMEMBER, MGA KA-SAMAHANG NORTE!♻️🌱

Ang isang malinis, ligtas, at magandang komunidad ay hindi nagsisimula sa malalaking proyekto nagsisimula ito sa simpleng disiplina ng bawat isa. 💚🏡 Kaya bago natin itapon ang ating basura, huminto muna sandali at itanong: “Saan ba talaga dapat ito ilagay?” 🤔🗑️

Sa pamamagitan ng tamang WASTE SEGREGATION at pagsasabuhay ng 3Rs — REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, malaking tulong na agad tayo sa ating kalikasan at komunidad. 🌎💚

♻️ REDUCE — Gumamit lamang ng kailangan. Iwasan ang sobrang packaging at mga bagay na hindi naman kailangan. Tandaan: LESS IS MORE! 🛍️

🔄 REUSE — Huwag agad itapon ang mga bagay na maaari pang gamitin. Bigyan sila ng panibagong buhay at gamitin muli kung maaari. 🧴📦

♻️ RECYCLE — I-segregate nang maayos ang ating basura upang ang mga recyclable materials ay maiproseso at magamit muli. 💙

At tandaan natin ang tamang waste segregation! 🗑️👇

🟢 GREEN BIN – BIODEGRADABLE WASTE
Dito ilagay ang mga nabubulok gaya ng food waste, balat ng prutas, gulay, dahon, damo, eggshells, tea bags, at iba pang organic materials. 🍌🥬🍂

🔵 BLUE BIN – RECYCLABLE WASTE
Para sa mga maaaring i-recycle gaya ng papel, karton, plastic bottles, bote, lata, metal containers, at iba pang recyclable materials. 📄📦🧴🥫

🟡 YELLOW BIN – RESIDUAL WASTE
Para sa mga hindi na mare-recycle o hindi na mapapakinabangan gaya ng plastic wrappers, sachets, diapers, styrofoam, used tissue, at iba pang non-recyclable materials. 🛍️🧻

🔴 RED BIN – SPECIAL / HAZARDOUS WASTE
Para sa hazardous o special waste gaya ng batteries, bulbs, medicines, electronics, paint, chemicals, at iba pang delikadong basura. ⚠️🔋💡

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDER: Ang tamang segregation ay hindi lamang tungkol sa kulay ng basurahan. Ang mahalaga ay alam natin kung anong klaseng basura ang ating itinatapon at sinusunod natin ang tamang disposal practices. Para sa hazardous waste, sundin ang mga lokal na alituntunin sa ligtas na pag-iimbak at pagtatapon. ♻️🌱

💚 SEGREGATE TODAY, MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOMORROW!

Bilang kabataan, mayroon tayong malaking papel sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan ng ating barangay, paaralan, at buong komunidad. Hindi kailangang maging perpekto agad ang mahalaga ay magsimula, maging consistent, at maging mabuting halimbawa sa iba. 💪🌎

Kaya kapag may hawak kang basura at naghahanap ng basurahan… HUWAG MONG ITAPON KUNG SAAN-SAN! 😂🗑️ Hanapin ang tamang lalagyan, i-segregate nang maayos, at isipin ang epekto nito sa ating kapaligiran. 🌳💚

Dahil ang simpleng pagtapon ng isang basura sa tamang basurahan ay maaaring maliit na bagay para sa iyo, pero kapag ginawa ito ng buong komunidad, malaking pagbabago ang maaring maidulot nito. 🙌♻️

📢 WALANG CLASS SUSPENSION! MAY PASOK BUKAS!🏫📚

Mga bes, confirmed na ang pinaka-nakakatakot na balita ng gabing ito: hindi po tayo bibigyan ng libreng tulog bukas. 😭😂 So kung may naka-ready nang kumot, unan, at “sana walang pasok” prayer… IBALIK MUNA SA K**A! 🤣

Alam naming umaasa ka na paggising mo bukas ay may magical notification na: “NO CLASSES!” 📱✨ Pero sorry, beh… ang notification na darating ay ALARM CLOCK! ⏰😂

The Samahang Norte Youth Organization reminds everyone, especially our fellow youth, families, and community members, to stay alert and follow official weather updates and safety advisories from authorities. Do not wait until the last minute to prepare. Prepare today. Protect tomorrow.

📻 STAY INFORMED.
Monitor official weather updates, warnings, and announcements. Keep your phone charged, stay updated through reliable sources, and avoid spreading unverified information that may cause unnecessary fear or confusion.

🎒 PREPARE YOUR GO BAG.
Make sure your emergency bag contains essential supplies such as drinking water, ready-to-eat food, medicines, a flashlight, extra batteries, a radio, power bank, important documents, basic hygiene items, clothes, and other necessities.

🏠 STAY IN A SAFE PLACE.
If your area is at risk of flooding, landslides, storm surges, or other hazards, evacuate immediately when authorities advise you to do so. Never risk your life just to protect belongings. Stay away from flood-prone areas and dangerous locations.

🌧️ DURING THE TYPHOON, STAY INDOORS.
Keep away from windows, glass doors, electrical wires, and other areas that may become dangerous during strong winds and heavy rain. Do not go outside unnecessarily, especially when conditions are severe.

The Samahang Norte Youth Organization is reminding all students, teachers, school personnel, parents, and members of our communities that SAFETY MUST ALWAYS BE OUR TOP PRIORITY. 🏫💙💛

Every student deserves to learn and grow in an environment that is safe, peaceful, respectful, inclusive, and free from violence. As we continue our daily school activities, let us all do our part in protecting one another and creating a positive learning environment where everyone feels secure and respected.

📚 BE SAFE.
Always follow your school's rules, policies, and safety guidelines. Stay alert, avoid unnecessary risks, and make responsible decisions wherever you are.

🤝 BE RESPECTFUL.
Treat your fellow students, teachers, school personnel, and everyone in the community with respect, kindness, and understanding. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, and acts of violence have no place in our schools.

🎒 BE RESPONSIBLE.
Take good care of your belongings and respect school property. Think before you act, and remember that every decision we make can affect not only ourselves but also the people around us.
