📢 Successful Conduct of SIB Training for ARBOs in Banisilan

On April 21, 2026, the DARPO PBDD Division personnel successfully conducted a simultaneous Social Infrastructure Building (SIB) Training on Organizational Development and Strengthening across seven (7) ARBOs located in different barangays of the Municipality of Banisilan, with the full support and assistance of DARMO Banisilan personnel.

The activity aimed to strengthen the organizational capacity of ARBO members by enhancing their knowledge on leadership, roles and responsibilities, and effective group management. Participants were actively engaged throughout the sessions, sharing their experiences, raising relevant concerns, and participating in group discussions and workshops designed to build stronger and more sustainable organizations.

The success of the training reflects the continued commitment of the Department of Agrarian Reform in empowering Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries—not only through land distribution but also by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their organizations effectively and improve their livelihoods.

Despite the simultaneous conduct in multiple barangays, the coordinated efforts of DARPO and DARMO personnel ensured the smooth implementation of all activities. The enthusiasm and cooperation of the ARBO members also played a vital role in making the training meaningful and productive.

DAR remains steadfast in its mission to support and develop strong, self-reliant ARBOs as partners in rural development.

📢 DARMO Banisilan Participates in CLUP Public Hearing

April 15, 2026 - DARMO Banisilan attended the Public Hearing on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and Zoning Ordinance of LGU Banisilan.

MARPO Abegail F. Orlanda and MARPO Florendo H. Dichoso Jr., actively participated in the discussion, providing valuable input on land reclassification and emphasizing the mandate of DAR in land conversion. MARPO Orlanda highlighted that while the LGU has the authority to reclassify lands for taxation purposes, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is responsible for acting on the conversion of lands from agricultural use into commercial, agro-industrial, and other non-agricultural purposes.

This engagement reflects DARMO Banisilan’s continued commitment to ensuring proper land use and compliance with agrarian reform policies.

DARMO Banisilan successfully conducted its Monthly Meeting on April 14, 2026, at the DARMO Banisilan Office, led by MARPO Abegail F. Orlanda and MARPO Florendo H. Dichoso Jr., with the presence of staff and TSS personnel. The meeting officially started at 9:30 AM.

Key discussions included:
✅ Upcoming activities such as the SIB Training for 7 ARBOs, sending of notices, and personnel assignments
✅ Completion of the redocumentation of Mama Ali et al. landholding under the SPLIT Project
✅ Administrative matters, particularly the monthly submission of compliances
✅ Other concerns on priority targets and percentage of accomplishments
