๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—œ๐—˜๐—ก๐—ง๐—”๐—Ÿ ๐— ๐—œ๐—ก๐——๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—ข โ€“ The 74th Infantry Battalion (74IB), in partnership with civilian volunteers, conducted a Gift-Giving and Feeding Program for 197 learners from the Buong Lupa Integrated Elementary School in Sitio Manlaye, Barangay Buong-Lupa, Gloria, and Bayuin Elementary School in Sitio Malvarosa, Barangay Bayuin, Socorro on 23 May 2026.

The children received school supplies including notebooks, school bags, pencils and loot bags, along with nutritious meals as part of the feeding program. Parlor games and film viewing activities were also conducted to provide the learners with a fun and memorable experience.

The outreach activity was implemented under the guidance of LTC JOSEPH A ABRENICA INF (GSC) PA, serving as the designated lead for the initiative, together with civilian volunteers headed by Mr. Paulo Claro. Also present were Mr. Arnold S. Braza, Officer-In-Charge of Bayuin Elementary School, Mrs. Lily G. Logdat, School Principal of Buong Lupa Integrated Elementary School, together with teachers, parents, and local stakeholders who supported the successful conduct of the program.

LTC ABRENICA emphasized that beyond ensuring peace and security, the 74IB remains committed to supporting initiatives that inspire hope, promote education, and uplift children in underserved communities through meaningful partnerships and collective service.

The activity highlighted the spirit of bayanihan and the shared commitment of the military, volunteers, educators, and the community in building a brighter future for the youth.

๐—•๐—ข๐—ก๐—š๐—”๐—•๐—ข๐—ก๐—š, ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ผ โ€“ More than 200 Mangyan beneficiaries from Sitio Lalid and other nearby sitios of Barangay Hagan received free medical, dental, and community services during Medical and Gift-Giving Mission conducted by the 74th Infantry Battalion (74IB) in partnership with TEAM JESUS on 24 May 2026.

The humanitarian outreach aimed to provide essential healthcare services and social support to underprivileged Indigenous Peoples communities in the remote area. Beneficiaries, composed of adults and children, availed of free circumcision, medical consultations and diagnosis, medicines, reading glasses, family planning lectures and free haircut services.

The activity was spearheaded by the 74IB under the leadership of LTC JOSEPH A ABRENICA INF (GSC) PA alongside TEAM JESUS led by Dra. Sheila Aranas. Also present during the activity were Honorable Marnel G. Rios, Barangay Captain of Brgy. Hagan, barangay officials, barangay health workers and teachers from the elementary school in Sitio Lalid who extended their support for the successful conduct of the mission.

The outreach activity highlighted the continuing commitment of the 74IB and its partner organizations in bringing government and humanitarian services closer to geographically isolated and disadvantaged communities. The smiles of the children, the gratitude of the elders, and the active participation of community members reflected the spirit of bayanihan and collective service.

LTC ABRENICA emphasized that beyond its mandate of ensuring peace and security, the Battalion remains dedicated to uplifting the welfare of communities through meaningful partnerships and community-centered programs.

BANSUD, ORIENTAL MINDORO โ€” The 74th Infantry (UNBEATABLE) Battalion, Philippine Army, successfully conducted a Donning of Rank Ceremony at the Headquarters of 74IB, Brgy. Pag-asa, Bansud, Oriental Mindoro, under the leadership of LTC JOSEPH A ABRENICA (GSC) INF PA, Commanding Officer. The activity highlighted the unitโ€™s strong commitment to recognizing merit and service.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the professional military careers of the promoted personnel, recognizing their dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment to service. The 74th Infantry โ€œUnbeatableโ€ Battalion, Philippine Army, in partnership with the 203rd Infantry Brigade, the Police Provincial Office of Oriental Mindoro, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bansud, formally declared the municipality under a Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition (SIPSC) in a ceremony held at the Municipal Building, Poblacion, Bansud, Oriental Mindoro on April 14, 2026.

The SIPS declaration serves as a significant milestone that highlights the success of sustained collaboration among security forces, local government units, and the community. It also aimed to formally recognize the municipalityโ€™s achievement of a stable peace and security condition and to strengthen the commitment of all stakeholders in sustaining peace, order, and development in the area.

The activity was attended by key officials from the 203rd Infantry Brigade, led by COL ERIC D. GUEVARRA, alongside representatives from the Philippine National Police, including PLTCOL EDWIN F.
