๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข โ The 74th Infantry Battalion (74IB), in partnership with civilian volunteers, conducted a Gift-Giving and Feeding Program for 197 learners from the Buong Lupa Integrated Elementary School in Sitio Manlaye, Barangay Buong-Lupa, Gloria, and Bayuin Elementary School in Sitio Malvarosa, Barangay Bayuin, Socorro on 23 May 2026.
The children received school supplies including notebooks, school bags, pencils and loot bags, along with nutritious meals as part of the feeding program. Parlor games and film viewing activities were also conducted to provide the learners with a fun and memorable experience.
The outreach activity was implemented under the guidance of LTC JOSEPH A ABRENICA INF (GSC) PA, serving as the designated lead for the initiative, together with civilian volunteers headed by Mr. Paulo Claro. Also present were Mr. Arnold S. Braza, Officer-In-Charge of Bayuin Elementary School, Mrs. Lily G. Logdat, School Principal of Buong Lupa Integrated Elementary School, together with teachers, parents, and local stakeholders who supported the successful conduct of the program.
LTC ABRENICA emphasized that beyond ensuring peace and security, the 74IB remains committed to supporting initiatives that inspire hope, promote education, and uplift children in underserved communities through meaningful partnerships and collective service.
The activity highlighted the spirit of bayanihan and the shared commitment of the military, volunteers, educators, and the community in building a brighter future for the youth.
