Wathc this Pawikan Releasing in Fuerte Caoayan wherein we released 169 hatchlings led by DENRCENRO CDS Chief Karen Rabena together with LGU representatives of Caoayan Ilocos Sur, Brgy Council of Fuerte, Pawikan Parents Roldan Agapinan and Sherwin Questin, children and people of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.

A multi-agency Tree Planting Activity was conducted in Three (3) areas in Ilocos Sur in celebration of the Arbor Day 2023. This aims to plant trees in degraded forest and improve biodiversity.
More or less 1000 narra and forest tree seedlings were planted in Brgy Cacadiran, Cabugao, Marcos District, Santa and Dalawa, Alilem. This was spearheaded by Society of Filipino Foresters Inc (SFFI) led by President of Ilocos Sur Chapter Karen F. Rabena and its members, DENR-CENRO led by Antonio P. Ridulme and PENRO led by Ms Rosemarie B. Jornacion in collaboration with LGU, PSA, PNP, RTC, ISPSC, Private groups and others

LOOK NOW: The releasing of 64 newly hatched sea turtle at San Sebastian, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur on March 10, 2022, led by SPM Christopher "Topeng" Baterina together with DENR-CENRO Bantay personnel, PENRMO personnel, LGU-San Vicente personnel, Brgy. Officials of Brgy.San Sebastian and Pawikan Parent Rizaldy Ruelizo. This was the 3rd time this year that Mr. Ruelizo successfully hatched a nesting site he was taking care of.
