Last February 27, 2026, the Dur-As Bantay Wetlands Day was conducted in partnership with the six (6) barangays traversed by the Nagtripitian River, a Local Conservation Area and Wetlands of Importance of Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

The Wetlands Day was done thru a simultaneous cleanup drive witn all of the concerned barangays. Waste collected were mostly biodegradable wastes which were later on disposed at their respective composting facilities.

We thank Barangays An-annam, Malingeb, Capangdanan, Sagpat, and Guimod for the continuous support and sustained effort in ensuring the conservation of the Nagtripitian River. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโ™ป๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ
