Ilocos Sur Provincial Internal Affairs Service (ISPIAS) Engages Community for Enhanced Police Accountability

On March 25, 2026, PCPT ARISTOTLE REY V BERSAMINA, OIC, Ilocos Sur PIAS, conducted a series of consultative interviews with key representatives from the Barangay/LGU and Community Sector of Brgy. Orence, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

This initiative is a core component of the Community Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) system of the Internal Affairs Service. By engaging directly with diverse sectors of society, the IAS aims to gather honest public sentiment regarding the quality of police services in the province of Ilocos Sur. These dialogues provide invaluable insights into how the PNP personnel can further improve its service delivery, ensuring that professional and accessible policing is felt by every individual in the community.

Ilocos Sur PIAS, RIAS 1 Strengthens Ethical Awareness Among PNP Personnel

The Ilocos Sur Provincial Internal Affairs Service conducted a lecture on discipline and professional conduct for the personnel of the Nagbukel MPS, Ilocos Sur PPO, on March 25, 2026, at around 08:30 AM led by PCPT ARISTOTLE REY V BERSAMINA, OIC, ISPIAS.

The activity reiterated the guidance of the Chief, Philippine National Police (PNP), particularly the prohibition against engaging in illegal gambling, including sabong, and entering bars and similar establishments. It also emphasized the importance of avoiding personal indebtedness to uphold professionalism and integrity in the service.

Through such initiatives, the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) continues to strengthen discipline, accountability, and ethical conduct within the PNP.
